Every Mafia's Favorite Girl novel Chapter 100

Chapter 100: "Have You No Manners?"

The sudden movement drove Aren’s back against the wall.

A sharp sting raced up her spine as cold concrete met her shoulder blades.

Yet in stark contrast to the unyielding wall behind her, Isidore’s lips were unexpectedly soft. One hand braced itself against the wall beside her head, effectively boxing her in, while the other settled firmly at her waist.

Instead of turning bright red and getting tongue-tied as she usually did, Aren remained perfectly still, staring at his closed eyes from only inches away. Her own blinked rapidly as she struggled to process what had just happened.

’Kissing?’

’Now?’

"...Master Accardi?"

His reply came in the same level, detached voice, astonishingly steady, as though he were conducting a basic covert-operations seminar for an especially slow trainee.

"Stay still. In case you’re wondering why this is happening, understand that most people are uncomfortable witnessing public displays of affection. This will serve as our cover."

Aren continued staring at him blankly, quietly dissecting his explanation.

It was perhaps the driest justification for a kiss anyone had ever given.

Oddly enough, it made perfect sense to Aren.

’Ah...’

’He’s using kissing as a distraction tactic.’

’This is a very new strategy.’

’Worth taking notes.’

Understanding settled neatly into place.

Then she noticed something else.

Something... deeply concerning.

His lips weren’t moving.

They simply rested against hers, completely motionless, as though he had calculated the exact position they needed to occupy and intended to maintain it indefinitely.

The hand around her waist remained just as rigid, his entire body held under such perfect control that he scarcely seemed to be breathing.

Compared to the way Caio had kissed her...

This was alarmingly unconvincing.

’No.’

’This isn’t real kissing.’

’His technique is incorrect.’

’It won’t look convincing enough.’

Outside the office, hurried footsteps and urgent voices grew steadily louder.

Without another moment’s hesitation, Aren reached her conclusion. She lifted one hand to Isidore’s shoulder while the other slipped around his waist, drawing him closer until his chest pressed firmly against hers.

At the same time, her own lips ceased their passive stillness, moving gently against his before she slowly captured his lower lip between her own.

Isidore’s entire body locked solid.

His eyes flew open.

’...What is she doing?’

He stared at her in complete disbelief as she returned the kiss with an intensity that transformed the carefully staged deception into something startlingly real.

Before he could gather a coherent thought, he felt the soft sweep of her tongue against his own.

For the first time in Isidore Accardi’s life, his mind ceased functioning altogether.

Every calculation.

Every contingency.

Every carefully maintained layer of composure evaporated without a trace.

His knees weakened so abruptly that he found himself leaning heavily into her for support, his weight pinning her flatter against the wall.

Through the thin fabric of his shirt, the soft, curved swell of her breasts pressed flush against his chest as she continued drawing him closer.

Then, his own body betrayed him.

A heavy heat flooded deep into his groin, hardening into a tight, insistent ache that became impossible to ignore — no matter how fiercely his mind attempted to suppress it.

’...Impossible.’

At that exact moment—

Bang.

The office door swung violently inward.

Several armed guards rushed through the entrance — only to slow almost immediately.

Silence descended over the room.

An awkward cough broke it as every pair of eyes landed upon the scene before them.

Ariana Lombardi was kissing Isidore Accardi with such unmistakable passion that his immaculate tailored suit had become visibly rumpled beneath her hands.

For several painfully long seconds, no one knew what to say.

At last, one of the guards remembered why they had come. Clearing his throat, he stepped forward.

"Excuse us... Mister Accardi. Miss Lombardi."

Only then did the kiss come to an end.

The pair slowly separated, leaving only enough space between them to acknowledge the interruption.

While Aren’s expression remained remarkably composed, Isidore regarded the guards with such icy displeasure that the temperature in the room seemed to plummet.

"Have you no manners?"

The unfortunate guard forced himself to remain professional despite the sweat already forming beneath his collar.

"Excuse us, sir. There’s been a security breach. We’re searching for an intruder."

Isidore regarded him without expression.

"And?"
