These days, all kinds of studios were popping up left and right, but there were still plenty of creative folks who didn’t have a place to grow or get noticed.
A lot of artists who were good at design would often post their work on forums and different websites.
Honestly, a lot of their designs were just as good as, if not better than, what you’d see from designers at established studios or companies.
When Britney set up her own company later on, most of the people she hired for the design team were online creators.
Most established studios didn’t want to go up against the Galloway Group, but Britney had her own way of dealing with things.
After listening to Britney’s instructions, Lynette hung up the phone right away.
By the time she finished her call, Fredrick had already cleaned up the kitchen and was walking over to her.
He’d heard everything Britney said on the phone.
Fredrick looked her over and asked politely, “Do you need any help?”
He was itching to show off what he could do, but…
Honestly, just seeing how Britney handled things, it seemed like she had it all under control and didn’t need him at all.
Fredrick couldn’t help but sigh to himself, feeling a bit let down.
“No need,” Britney shot back without even thinking. “These little tricks? I can handle them just fine.”
She knew that when things got tough, there was always a way out life had a way of turning around when you least expected
Britney didn’t feel like she was backed into a corner yet, so asking for help wasn’t even on her mind.
Seeing Britney’s confident vibe, Fredrick crossed his arms and asked, “How’d you come up with the idea of casting such a wide net for talent?”
That move really blew Fredrick away. He hadn’t expected it at all
He’d actually been thinking about bringing his own team on board with Santos Group. His crew was every bit as skilled as the folks Galloway poached.
Honestly, he’d wanted to reach out to Britney ever since the day alloway Group walked away.
But Britney moved so fast with her own professional team to fill the spot Galloway Group left behind, it honestly left everyone stunned.
It really made Fredrick wonder, ‘Has she been planning this from the very beginning?”
Fredrick asked Kenny to dig into it right away.
And what Kenny found just amazed him even more.
Britney owned a clothing company she started two and a half years ago.
Getting it off the ground wasn’t easy, but within just a year, Brity managed to put the brand on the map.

Only Britney herself knew just how tough it really was.

Britney paused, then decided to be honest. “When I first started the company, I couldn’t just go out and recruit people in the open. If I made too much of a splash, the Galloway family would definitely catch on. Even though the company was under my friend’s name, I still had to be super careful.”
She went on, “Back then, I used to stay up late gaming to blow of steam. I loved scrolling through forums and digging into all those gossip threads. That’s when I stumbled across a bunch of insanely talented female artists. I started reaching out to these ladies.”
At first, she was just commissioning all kinds of work as a private client, fashion sketches, character designs, even fan art.
Eventually, she cherry-picked the ones who were really passionate about fashion design and invited them to join my team.
Of course, some of them started out as character artists, but after Britney brought them into her company, they eventually got into fashion and jewelry design as well.
That was exactly why Britney Santos’s brand, “Dyora Void,” was able to rise to fame so quickly.
By blending in all the hottest trends, their designs captured the hearts of today’s young crowd.
Britney looked down. “Back then, I used the same trick to make Dyora Void blow up fast. If you keep digging, you’ll always strike gold.”
Guess the old-school methods still got the job done.
Fredrick gave Britney a long, searching look. “You’re just going to tell me you have a company? Aren’t you worried I’ll let it slip?”
“Why would I be?” Britney smiled lightly. “Back then, I had to keep it secret because there were too many people trying to hold me back. But now the timing’s perfect. There’s nothing to be afraid of.”
She pointed at Fredrick. “Besides, I’ve got you in my corner now The Galloway family can’t touch me. I know you wouldn’t just sit back and let your business partner crash and burn.”
Britney was sure Fredrick wouldn’t let her go down without a fight.
Funny thing was, Britney couldn’t even explain where all that confidence was coming from.
Maybe it was everything they’d been through lately, but Britney just found herself trusting the guy in front of her without even thinking about it.
Fredrick’s eyes were dark and unreadable. He didn’t need to ask. He could already picture the insane amount of pressure Britney had been under these past three years, grinding her way up, one move at a time, to get her company to where it was
now.
When she cut ties with the Galloway Group, she wasn’t just sitting on a pile of cash. She’d already lined up her whole crew, every resource in place, ready for anything.
For the past three years, that whole “playing the lovesick fool” routine was just her cover for the outside world, a shield to protect herself.
It was obvious to anyone just how much weight Britney had bee carrying on her shoulders.
Thinking about all this, Fredrick nodded firmly. “Absolutely. Sine you teamed up with me, we’re in this together. Don’t worry. I’ll look out for you from now on. No one will dare mess with you.”
He took this moment to give Britney his word.

But Britney didn’t really pick up on the true weight behind his omise.
She strolled over to Fredrick, gave his shoulder a casual pat, and grinned. “Thanks, Freddy”

Fredrick thought it over, then finally spoke up about what was bugging him. “Sure, there are tons of independent artists out there, but you gotta be careful.
“Tight deadlines, tons of work, and you never really know if people online are legit. When it comes to picking their stuff, you have to be strict, like, no room for mistakes.”
If any of the designs get caught up in drama, it was game over for Britney. No coming back from that.
This move was risky as hell.
He knew Britney was well aware of all this.
Britney knew exactly what Fredrick was talking about. That’s why she was extra cautious.
She shot Fredrick a confident look. “I’ll handle the vetting myself Trust me.”
Britney had already done a mental sweep of her options before making the call.
Truth was, she already had a shortlist in her head.
It was just going to be a pain to track them down.
Still, Britney kept some of her plans to herself.
It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Fredrick. If she didn’t, she wouldn’t have opened up to him like this today.
She just didn’t want to complicate things with too many details and end up with unnecessary trouble.
Fredrick watched Britney, and he could see the hesitation in her eyes. She definitely had her reservations.
He didn’t bother asking if he was the reason for it.
Britney had already opened up to him so much today. She clearly trusted him.
But Britney moved at her own pace, and Fredrick knew not to press her for more.
Fredrick looked at Britney, reached out, and gave her hair a gentle tousle. His voice softened. “Go on, do whatever you want. Don’t be afraid. I’m always here for you. You can count on me.”
Britney gazed at the man standing before her.
His words settled quietly in her heart, so gentle she almost missed them.
Every word stirred something inside her, sending soft ripples though her heart.
Even after Fredrick went upstairs to handle some business, Britney was still replaying his gentle words in her mind, caught up in how sweet he’d just been.
Britney wondered if she was just overthinking things.
The way Fredrick said it made her feel like there was more to it an met the eye.
It was like no matter what happened, he’d always have her back.
Britney brushed off that thought pretty quickly.

She figured she was just reading too much into things.
Maybe that’s why she kept seeing Fredrick as so soft and gentle.
