Soon, it was time for Marlee to audition.

As she stood waiting on one side, she pretended to greet Andres warily. In fact, everyone saw it.

Kaitlyn frowned as she asked Everett in a low voice, “Why is she here?”

Everett was a little annoyed at Marlee’s presence as well. He replied, “She was recommended by

Andres.”

“Do you still remember who I am?”

Andres was puzzled, but he remained respectful even after being reprimanded.”Mrs. Watkins, what do you mean by that? I dare not forget how kind you are. Did I do anything to offend you?” Kaitlyn looked up and down at him coldly, her brows furrowed.”Andres, I used to think you were smart and able to distinguish right from wrong. How come you are so muddled when being in love?”

Andres couldn’t help but make a snort, “Kaitlyn, do you talk to me about that because of Kiki? She was the one who broke up, and I’ve been giving her every chance to change her mind. As long as she stops causing trouble, we can still be what we were before. But she’s stubborn. I don’t even know why she is like this. Even if you want to stand up for her, you should clarify the ins and outs.”

His last sentence implied a hint of blame.

Kaitlyn frowned and asked with her gaze on Andres’ expression, “Andres, do you still love Keira?” Andres frowned as well.”If I didn’t love her, I would have already made our contract termination public. Do you think she can still be here?”

Kaitlyn’s face remained grim.”I asked Everett to recommend you to this drama crew since I wanted to give you two an opportunity to resolve misunderstandings. You should never have let Marlee audition.”

Andres’s brows furrowed even more.”Kaitlyn, I had Marlee audition because she admires Mr. Watkins. It is also an irreplaceable opportunity for her to step on to the international stage. There is nothing between us. To me, she is like a younger sister.”
