Chapter 131
SERAPHINA’S POINT OF VIEW..
62%
The sound of the jet’s engine humming filled the silence at the back of the prival airport, as Ace, Peterson, and I stood before my father’s huge black plane. waiting for him to walk through those doors.
My heartbeat reverberated throughout my entire body as I tried to calm my senses. All I wanted to do was be with Theo and not have to think about how
Father would react when he sees me. I hoped Thep’s effect on me wasn’t visible, hat he would not see my flushed cheeks, or the way my face was aglow at
the thought of him. Theo made me want to be myself, and not who I was trained o be. I wanted to be the pink-obsessed cat lover I really was, and not the
sneaky, lying, manipulative bitch I am right now.
“Stay calm,” Ace whispered in the corner of his mouth at me. Only he could tell when I was troubled by just standing at my side. I loved that about him,
because even though we weren’t blood related, he understood me better than our parents.
I exhaled slowly, releasing my grip on my blazer as the doors were pulled open.
“Here we go,” Ace whispered, whistling silently.
The sight of my father appearing through those doors did a couple of things to me….but above all, it made me emotional. Knowing what he’s been through in the past years, and the fact that he’s finally here to complete what we’ve been working on for the past three years…it was truly a full circle.
He walked over to us, his bluish green eyes covered by his dark glasses, as his lips pulled into a slow smile.
“Sera. Ace.”
“Father.” We both responded, and Peterson bowed slightly.
My father looked at me instantly, making me feel as though I was under a microscope, as I stood straighter and schooled my features. He stared at me for
what felt like the longest time, and all I could think was…can he see Theo on me??
All of a sudden, his lips pulled into a smile again, and he pulled me in a deep hug. “I missed you, Sera.” He said, his voice soft as he gently stroked my back.
“I missed you, too, father,” I whispered in response, my eyes welling up with tear at the familiar warmth he provided.
“What about me, Father?” Ace interjected, and Father pulled away from me to smack him on the head.
“Ow!” The fucker winced like a baby, rubbing on the spot as he flashed our fathe a pathetic pout.
“Oh, don’t give me that sick look. You’ve always been jealous of your sister.”
“Jealous? Me?” Ace scoffed like it was impossible. “I can never be jealous of a gu
“Okay, son. If you say so.” Father said, before pulling me by the arm, so our arms were intertwined as we walked.
“So, tell me about Sloane.”
“She’s warming up. It’s almost time for everything to happen, Father. I have Peterson on the final phase of the plan, and mom is currently with her at school. Once she does her final bit, Sloane will be hit with everything we’ve planned.”
“Good. That’s very good. I have a surprise for her too.” He mused, staring ahead to the sky as we walked.
“Yes, Father. May I ask what it is?”

“Something quite….jolting.”
“Oh, okay, father.”

“Now, how is that Ravenscroft brat?” He spat as disdain crossed his features. I d’t think anyone hates Lucien as much as my father does and it was all
because of Sloane.
“As expected. He’s arrogant, but he’s a problem because he rarely leaves her side so it’s hard to do what we must before the plan can actually happen,
finally.”
“Hmm.” He exhaled, and I knew what that meant. Father has another plan coming
“Everything will go as planned, Sera. They’ll all fucking bow when I’m done with them.”
By the time we’d pulled up to father’s mansion, it was part twelve in the afternoon.
“I’ll be getting off here. Have a fun day at school, guys.” Father said, before stepping out of the car.
Peterson would drive us off to school.
“Well, I’m gonna take my bike. I have somewhere to be.”
“You’re not coming to school?” I asked him, and he turned to me, but that look in his eyes….Ace was up to no good again.
“What are you going to do? Someone’s gonna suffer, aren’t they?” I asked, dread filling me at the darkness in his eyes. The last time I’d seen this, Ace’s karate instructor ended up in a fucking hospital.
“Just go ahead and have fun with Theo again, I’ll do what I need to.”
“Wait..is it about the girl you told me about?” I asked. “You know you can’t have $loane, right?”
“It’s not Sloane, Seraphina.” He answered, and I heaved a sih of reolief. He and new exactly why he and Sloane could never be.
Not only would it be awkward, father would have his head…that’s if Lucien does get to him first.
“You want to tell me who it is then?”
He hesistates for a few seconds, his jaw clenching before he stares ahead with his hand still on the door. “Amara,”
That’s all he says, because before I can ask any more questions, he’s out of the c, and slamming the door behind him. I watch as he walks over to his bike, gets on it, and angrily revs the engines, before zooming off.
“You think someone’s gonna get punished tonight?” I asked Peterson
He bummed in response, staring at the same spot as me. “Ace is the most volatile’ve ever seen him. Goodness knows who’s fucked him up so bad.”
“He said Amara ” I answered, wondering just what the hell she did to cause this
“Well, how’s Theo?”
I hissed at the question, staring around for any hidden cameras. “Quiet. You know father must not know anything about this.”

Chapter 131
“There are no cameras in here, nor are there listening devices. I got rid of it all le said, making me heave a sigh of relief.
“Thank god.”
“Yeah…so….anything to report?” He asked, wiggling his eyebrows at me wit a suggestive smile.
“Just drive.”
His chuckles fill the silent car, before he hits play on Beyonce.
“Goodbye.” I said, slamming the car door. He’d parked at the secluded part of school so I could keep my scholarship girl status.
He zoomed off after waving at me, but before I could take another step, someone voice cuts in;
“Hello, Seraphina.”
I turn to look at who it is, only to be met with the sight of a man with a striking resemblance with Theo. “Ah, you look just as I’d imagined.”
“Im sorry? Who are you?”
“Phillip. Phillip Kingswell.” He answered, a chilling smile on his face, as he pulled his hand out towards me for a shake.
