Chapter 86
THEO’S POINT OF VIEW.

The Ravenscroft wing stretched out like someone’s entire house. With its high walls, polished floors, and expensive decor, it looked like a place fit for kings or the royal family. The guys and I had an agreement; only the five of us, Sloane and Cassian’s girl were allowed in here. Aside from the staff, no one else
could enter this place without permission from any of us.
But I’d just broken a rule, and the guys can never know about it.
I’d allowed Seraphina in.
She walked to me, dressed in a skirt that wasn’t even too short, but for some reason, my heart raced, as my eyes bulged slightly at how marvelous her legs looked. They were slim, long, and so fucking beautiful. With a calm expression, I checked her out as she got closer to me. Her makeup was very little; the
only way I knew there was something else on her face was the pink lip gloss she applied.
She looked at me with a huff, like I was a cockroach she wanted to squash, and for some reason, it had my blood boiling with desire. Every girl I give the luxury of my attention, or even a flicker of my gaze, drops for me. But for some reason, she doesn’t.
It deeply concerns me.
“You’re here. And not even a minute later.” My smirk rolls off my lips lazily, as my tousled hair covers my face slightly.
“Don’t get it twisted. I’m here because of the money you offered. Nothing more. She hisses, like the idea of spending even a minute with her is revolting.
“Nice. Let’s keep lying to ourselves.” She turns to me with a look so intense, I’d be in the ground if she had any power over it. “You and I know you cant
resist my irresistible charm. No one can.”
She smirks as she pulls out her books. “You must have been dropped on the head as a baby quite often.”
“No. My parents are descendants of the Queen of England. They would never let anyone drop their heir. I said, as bitterness crawled up my chest at the
thought of my parents.
I pushed it away instantly, choosing to focus on him instead.
“Well, they should have. Maybe it would have reset any buttons in your head that think I would ever look at you in any other way than anyone would look at
vermin.”
She scoffs as she pulls out a calculator. For some reason, her antics amuse me, because a genuinely amused smile stretches my lips to the side.
“Oh, come on. Let’s stop playing these games. You know you want me. She turns sharply, het head might have popped out of its socket, and hisses.
If you aren’t going to take this seriously, I will get up and walk out of here. Noting will bung me back.
I sober up at that, as Lucien’s plan drones on in my mind.
Charm her, Theo. Anyone with well functioning eyes can see how you looked at, and how she looked back at you. Don’t fuck this up. She must not come
between and Sloane me.
‘Okay. What are we doing? I said, and she shoots me a skeptical look, before sling a book over to ine.
“Solve this, and if you do it in under five minutes. Il tutor you, free of charge.”

Chapter 86
My eyes roam over the question, and immediately, another smile breaks on my li. She was a clever one; I’ll give her that.
You want me to answer a top-level question solved by robot engineers? I’m just high school student.

She rolls her eyes. Hard. “If you expect me to believe that your ‘descendants of the queen of England’ parents.” She says, making air quotes, as she rolls her eyes again with an incredulous expression. “Did not get you a very advanced level of education, for someone to inherit their trillions in a few years, you must think I’m quite stupid. You may fool everyone else here, but honey, you don fool me.”
I smirk, take the pen from her, and watch as she flicks her timer to start. My eye drift on the question, as I try to get my mind to picture the last robotics
class I had a few years ago.
My parents are high-level inventors and engineers. I’ve been dealing with robots and math equations sure to give anyone an aneurysm since I turned five.
This was a piece of cake.
My hand moves quickly, as I solve the equation while trying to peek at her discreetly. Her brows furrowed as she stared at the book. She tries to hide her shocked expression, but she fails, because I see it clear as day on her face. It was almost finny, but sad at the same time.
My family had expectations of me, and part of them was solving college and master level equations before I turned twelve.
Before the timer hit the third minute, I added the answer and dropped the pen on the book. It landed with a light plop, and I turned to her.
She pursed her lips as anger and annoyance crossed her features.
She heaves an anxious sigh and flips the book over to her side. “You finished this in less than four minutes……impressive.” She says the last part with her
teeth clenched.
“Thank you. It’s my pleasure.” I mutter, still with a smirk on my face, and I know it annoys her, because her right eye twitches slightly, and she turns to her
book again.
“Fine. As agreed upon, I’ll coach you, without the money involved.”
“No.” My voice comes out harder than I intended, so I soften it. “I mean, I already agreed to pay for our services. I am a man of my word; my family’s reputation hangs on it. You will get every penny we agreed upon at the agreed date, without a buck deducted.”
‘Feelin chivalrous? She asks, mocking, but she doesn’t know that the plan Lucie and I concocted was already underway, and she was already trapped in our
web.
‘No. It’s just who I am.”
At that, I rise to my feet and pull my phone just when I’ve left the Ravenscroft Lunge.
‘She’s in.”
