He put everything away, turned around, and saw her still standing there. "What's wrong?" he asked.
Emilia looked down, smiled, and shook her head, saying it was nothing.
The next moment, he took her hand.
She looked up, and then he kissed her.
His breath was hot.
He guided her by the waist over to the sofa, his lips lingering on hers.
He pressed her down onto the sofa, kissing her and whispering her name. "Emily."
"Hmm?" Emilia responded.
He kissed her again, calling her name once more.
Emilia was dazed, feeling as if everything was spinning.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew through the room.
Clatter!
Something on the nearby table was knocked to the floor by the wind from the open window, interrupting the moment.
Emilia blinked, looking at Theodore before her.
His eyes were filled with an aggressive desire.
Emilia felt shy and averted her gaze.
She gently pushed against him.
"Theodore, I... I'm not ready yet," she said.
She could already feel the change in his body, but that gust of wind had made it impossible for her to continue.
But he didn't get up.
His heartbeat was close, his hot breath just inches away.
Emilia's face flushed.
She pushed him again.
Theodore finally let out a long sigh, removed his hand from under her shirt, and gently patted her back. "I won't do anything, Emily. Just let me hold you, okay?"
"Okay," Emilia replied softly.
And so, he just held her.
Like a giant teddy bear, he enveloped her completely in his embrace.
"Don't worry about it," Theodore said with a smile, his voice still tinged with a sexy hoarseness.
"I want you, but I don't want to force you."
He said, "I'm sure that one day, you'll be willing."
His words were so direct that Emilia's face turned even redder.
Unable to listen anymore, Emilia pushed him toward the door.
This only made Theodore laugh.
It wasn't until the door was closed and she saw him get back into his car downstairs, waving at her, that she returned to the living room.
Her heart was pounding and her face was burning hot. Emilia rushed to the bathroom to splash cold water on her face.
Looking up, Emilia saw her reflection in the mirror.
Her reflection showed a blushing face with shy eyes.
Emilia touched her own cheek.
Was this her?
How long had it been since she last felt her heart race and her face flush like this?
