Everything changed on that day.
Years ago, when he rushed to Emilia's side, she was already unconscious. The one waiting for him was Absolon Foster.
At that moment, Absolon Foster was standing beside Emilia, fiddling with his phone.
“Absolon Foster, I warned you!” Tyler had been seething with rage.
But Absolon Foster had just been smiling, the same way he was smiling now in prison.
Back then, Absolon Foster had taken out his phone and shown Tyler some pictures.
“You didn't really think I just hit her, did you?”
“Tyler, have you ever wondered what I was thinking when Paisley married me and brought her along?”
Absolon Foster's disgusting expression was still vivid in his memory.
“Emilia is cautious. She always avoids me. When I'm home, she tries not to use the bathroom.”
“She checks her room every day, looking everywhere.”
“But…” Absolon Foster grinned sinisterly. “We’ve lived under the same roof for so long. Did you really think I didn’t manage to take any pictures at all?”
That day, Absolon Foster turned his phone toward him, swiping through the photos one by one.
All of them were taken from a hidden angle.
Her in her room, in the bathroom, just after getting out of the shower.
Although it was clear she was very vigilant and protected herself, and none of the photos showed any private parts, there were still one or two that were quite revealing.
Tyler would never forget how he felt in that moment.
He wanted to kill Absolon Foster!
To grind his bones to dust!
But Absolon Foster was threatening him with the photos.
It was raining heavily that day.
Absolon Foster stood right next to the unconscious Emilia.
“Beg me,” Absolon Foster laughed wildly. “For now, I'm the only one who has these. If you beg me, I might just keep them for my own private viewing.”
“But if you don't listen to me…” Absolon Foster’s finger hovered over the send button.
Anger, humiliation, hatred!
All these emotions swelled in his chest.
The rain that day felt like a thousand steel needles piercing his body.
“Please…” In the end, a soaked Tyler bowed his head.
