As the crowd argued, the clock struck twelve.
Emilia watched the commotion and saw Vivienne on the screen, looking into the camera and saying, "It's twelve o'clock, Emilia. What's your next move?"
"What are you going to do? Get revenge on me for an accident?"
Combined with her feigned look of helplessness, her words stirred immense sympathy from her die-hard fans.
She continued, "Or is it like what happened after the concert yesterday? The dirt you wanted to release has already been posted by 'User567' for you."
She was simultaneously implying that User567 and Emilia were working together and suggesting that Emilia had nothing more to reveal, painting herself as completely innocent.
Emilia’s face was calm. At noon, she opened the car door and stepped out.
Bodyguards cleared a path for her as she walked toward the crowd, holding a file folder.
It was already noon. Seeing that Emilia hadn't posted anything online, Vivienne felt a surge of triumph.
It was just as she thought. Emilia was only trying to scare her.
Perhaps, just as she had said, the photos from the stairwell were the biggest bombshell Emilia had.
She had reviewed the photos earlier. There was no way anyone could know that she had timed it perfectly, pushing Tyler's hand to shove Emilia down.
Emilia didn't know. Joyce didn't know. Even Tyler, to this day, had no idea.
What she did that day was flawless.
The more she thought about it, the more "innocent" her expression became.
She looked into the camera and said, "What's wrong, Emilia? Why haven't you posted anything? Did I hit the nail on the head?"
Her eyes were red and she looked haggard, which only made her fans shout louder in her defense.
"Emilia, show yourself!"
"Emilia, apologize!"
The calls came from both online and offline.
Many onlookers who were just there for the drama were also wondering where Emilia was.
It was a few minutes past twelve, and she still hadn't posted anything.
Just as everyone thought Emilia had chickened out and wouldn't appear, a sudden commotion erupted from the edge of the crowd outside Vivian Floral Atelier.
Vivienne gritted her teeth. She had thought Emilia wouldn't dare to show up. But it didn't matter. Emilia was no match for her.
"Emilia..." Vivienne thought, forcing a "weak" smile, looking like a helpless victim.
In stark contrast to Vivienne, Emilia's face was a mask of calm.
She showed neither joy nor sorrow, only tranquility.
She just looked at Vivienne, holding a file folder in her hand.
"Vivienne, have you thought it over?" Emilia asked. "Are you ready to confess?"
She had already given Vivienne a chance before.
This wasn't another chance. This was a final confirmation, a way to end everything with a decisive blow in front of everyone.
Vivienne maintained her innocent facade.
"I did nothing wrong," Vivienne said. "I have nothing to confess."
"Very well," Emilia said, raising the file folder in her hand.
