Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 632

Emilia didn't look at Tyler. She simply signed her name on the contract and dated it.

Tyler signed his copy as well, then swapped documents with her.

Suddenly, for no reason at all, Tyler had a feeling that this scene had played out before.

It felt exactly like the day they went to City Hall to finalize their divorce, trading papers and signing their lives away.

Tyler hesitated before signing the second copy.

The tip of his pen hovered over the paper, as if his subconscious refused to let history repeat itself.

Across from him, Emilia had already finished.

When she looked up, she noticed his hesitation.

She also saw the terrible state he was in.

He was covered in bandages, and the exposed skin on his arms was marred by dark, severe bruising from his fall.

It looked exactly like the injuries she had suffered back then.

A few days ago, Tyler had told her that he had thrown himself down those same stairs.

Israel had sought her out later, and Chloe had relentlessly called her, insisting she know exactly what Tyler had done to prove himself to her.

But she didn't want to think about it.

She had made her decision a long time ago.

"Why aren't you signing?" Emilia asked, watching him stall. "Having second thoughts?"

Tyler paused for a moment before lifting his gaze to meet hers.

His eyes swam with complex emotions.

She was sitting right there at the table, looking exactly as she always had, except now, she was sitting beside another man.

Tyler didn't answer. He just stared at her.

Emilia stayed silent, her expression unreadable.

About half a minute passed before Tyler finally looked away.

He tightened his grip on the pen and signed his name on the designated line.

Tyler.

Right next to the other signature.

Emilia.

The name that had stood beside his countless times. The person who used to be closest to him.

With trembling hands and a racing heart, Nichol played the entire video through once to get a feel for the situation.

Then, he spoke into his microphone. "In my professional opinion, Vivienne completely orchestrated this. She manipulated the scuffle to use Tyler's hands to push Emilia."

Because his stream had the highest viewership, Jack had rallied Vivienne's remaining die-hard fans to raid the chat and control the narrative.

"You're jumping to conclusions over a video that might not even be real! This streamer is just twisting the facts!"

"Orchestrated? Vivienne didn't know anything!"

...

Nichol scoffed, clearly irritated by the spam. He restarted the playback.

"Since you're going to act like that, let me prove it to you."

He pointed at the screen.

"Everyone, look right here."

Nichol paused the video.

"Right at this moment, Vivienne clearly glances toward the stairwell."

His cursor turned into a drawing tool, sketching a bright red line tracking her line of sight.
