“Come on, man. Women like these are probably just here to get some rich guy’s attention. Why not take them off the market so they don’t cause more trouble?” the woman standing nearby whispered, planting the idea in his ear.
“Who knew someone your age could be so crude Diana tossed her fork onto the table with a clatter and looked the two flustered women up and down with utter disdain. Their heavy makeup was streaked and smudged, leaving them looking like a pair of drowned rats.
“You’ve still got time to think about my offer. Just don’t keep me waiting too long,” the man in the black suit pressed.
“Feeling that desperate, huh? Aren’t there two volunteers right in front of you?” Diana shot back with a sharp smile. “Put a bag on it. As long as no one gets pregnant, you can still have your fun.”
The short-haired woman was so furious she lunged forward, hand raised to strike Diana.
Diana wasn’t one to back down. She stood up in one swift motion and shoved with both hands, sending the woman stumbling backward to land hard on the sun-baked patio tiles.
The woman let out a sharp cry of pain.
Seeing their “sister” being handled so roughly, the two men instantly raised their fists and charged.
Before Diana could react, she was yanked backward by a large, firm hand, her back colliding with a solid, warm chest.
In front of her, a long leg clad in tailored suit pants shot out in a powerful kick. The man in the grey suit crumpled to the ground, his expensive clothes now smeared with dirty pool water.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
Diana heard the gruff curse near her ear. She turned her head and saw it was Brian.
It had been a while since she’d seen him. He seemed more mature, but the moment he opened his mouth, that same reckless edge was still there. Since becoming a major shareholder, his presence had become more commanding. A calm demeanor now masked his unruly nature, but it took only a few words for the real him to surface.
He glared coldly at the man on the ground before his gaze settled on Diana. Seeing she was steady on her feet, he released his grip on her arm.
Diana’s heart was a chaotic mess.
Isabelle and Sienna had just stood up from their chairs when they saw a small group of people approaching. Among them were Damian and Blaze.
Blaze had changed into a crisp, dark suit, looking every bit the serious businessman. When Sienna’s eyes met his, a fresh wave of heat rushed to her face, betraying her nerves completely.
“Come here,” Blaze said, his glance briefly sweeping over Sienna before he extended a hand toward her.
As if in a trance, Sienna reached out and took it.
A slight smile touched Blaze’s lips as he drew her closer to his side.

who exactly did you plan on messing with?” Damian’s voice was dangerously low, his icy gaze fixed on the man in the now- wrinkled black suit. He held isabelle’s hand firmly, his eyes shooting daggers.
When the man saw Damian holding Isabelle’s hand, his face drained of all color, and the corner of his mouth twitched uncontrollably. Then he looked at the woman sheltered beside Brian, and Sienna standing next to Blaze. He knew, with a sinking finality, that his career was over.
In one stupid move, he had managed to offend three men he should never have crossed. It felt like walking onto his own execution ground.
“Mr. Cross… we were just… just fooling around…” The man in the grey suit scrambled to his feet, franching his shoulders in a display of deference, all his earlier bravado completely gone.
“Who is he…?” the woman who had just gotten up from the ground whispered fearfully.
“My boss…” he muttered back, his voice timid.
“Not anymore,” Damian stated flatly.
He glanced at the head of security standing behind him, who gave a single, sharp nod of understanding.
“Let’s go,” Damian said, slipping his arm around Isabelle’s shoulders and turning to lead her away.
Brian fell into step beside them, and Diana followed closely. The security team remained where they were.
“Mr. Cross! Please, we made a mistake! Mr. Cross!” The suited man tried to follow but was immediately blocked by two broad- shouldered guards.
Once the group was out of earshot, the security team proceeded to escort the men and the two women away.
“Are you hungry?” Damian asked, giving the woman beside him a gentle squeeze.
him
“A little,” Isabelle admitted, leaning her head against his chest.
Damian smiled and guided her toward a private dining room on the estate grounds. She started to glance back to check on Diana, but Damian gently steered her attention forward.
“Mind your own business,” he chided softly.
Just then, she saw Brian fall into step next to Diana.
“Why don’t you come to my villa and take a hot shower? You must be chilled,” Brian suggested to Diana.
“Okay,” Diana agreed with a nod.
Back in the private villa suite, Damian pinned Isabelle against the closed door, his burning gaze locked on hers as he pressed the full length of his body against hers. The air between them grew thick and charged.
“You look absolutely devastating in this,” he murmured, his voice a deep, cello like rasp that was rough with desire.
