She picked up the proposal from Anthony’s hand and saw the hotel name. She knew that hotel. Her agency had handled its advertising once.

It was barely hanging on. The staff culture was toxic.

She went on, “Occupancy is already low. You should figure out why, Is it the location? Is it the hotel itself? Nobody knows. But here’s a proposal anyway. Smells like nepotism. Someone’s trying to coast into retirement on this.”

Anthony smiled and tossed the proposal back to the manager who’d presented it.

The man wiped the sweat off his forehead and scrambled to pick it up.
