Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All novel Chapter 142

Chapter 142: 142-My Way Or Highway

Gigi:

She glanced around anxiously before finally shaking her head.

"No. We’ll find another way, but this isn’t it," she said, walking toward the door.

"Then you leave me no choice."

"What are you thinking of doing?" my mother asked, stopping midway and turning to look at me.

I felt her body shudder, as though she was bracing herself for whatever answer I was about to give.

"The only thing I have left," I murmured.

I wasn’t crying anymore, but silent tears continued to slip down my face.

My mother’s brows drew together as she desperately searched for another option.

"Mother, I survived Justin because he was a nobody. But with them, I’ll never survive."

A quiet laugh escaped me, one that sounded more like I was laughing at myself.

"So you’ve left me with no other choice but—"

I trailed off, watching her eyes widen.

"To end my misery," I whispered.

Then my gaze fell on her face.

The fear written across it made it painfully clear that she understood exactly what I was talking about.

I could only endure so much. After a certain point, everything fell apart.

That was what I wanted my mother to understand. I had no other choice left.

"I would rather die," I whispered.

The moment those words left my mouth, my mother gasped.

"I’ll end my life because I’m not going to live through that humiliation again."

As soon as I said it, I jumped off the couch and rushed toward the kitchen.

My mother ran after me.

She caught me from behind, wrapping her arms around me and pulling me away from the kitchen.

"Have you lost your mind?" she screamed.

"Have I?" I cried. "I’ve lost everything. I’ve lost my dignity so many times. There’s something about my body, Mother, that men can’t look away from. Don’t you understand?"

I broke down, sobbing.

"I’m too perfect for men."

I began to shake uncontrollably, crying on my knees in front of my mother.

My mother knelt beside me and gripped my arms, giving me a gentle shake as though she could pull me out of my despair.

"No, Mother. There is no other way."

I cried even harder.

Her eyes filled with tears.

"I’ve become a burden to all of you. Every time, my beauty gets me into trouble. It’s better if I help all of you by leaving this world. Please let me go, Mother. It will be so much easier for you, Daddy, and even Oliver."

A genuine sob tore from my throat as the reality crashed over me.

I had a deranged stalker waiting to get his hands on me.

At that moment, it struck me that Lady Lucille had no idea.

She was only acting the way she was because she didn’t know the truth.

My stalker was so obsessed with me that he would come after her too.

And honestly, if she didn’t change her ways, I might even tell him to torture her.

I wouldn’t shed a tear for her.
