Chapter 716
“Clear my name?” Rebecca echoed. “Do you know who posted this, sir?”
Fabio shook his head. “How would I know? I just got here.”
Rebecca’s mind was sharp and focused. “Then could you please pull the security footage?”
“Yes! Check the cameras!” Jenny jumped in. “We’ll see who did this awful thing. Spreading false rumors like this is illegal!”
The students who hadn’t left started whispering again.
“Yeah, the cameras will show who did it.”
“It doesn’t matter who posted it. What matters is whether Rebecca actually committed those filthy acts.”
“Duh! The explicit photos are right there for everyone to see. How could it be fake?”
Rebecca looked at the sea of faces, figuring some were deliberately stirring the pot, but most were just there for the gossip.
“Jenny, take out your phone and record a video,” she said. “Capture everyone here clearly, including their voices. Whoever is still spreading rumors now… I can’t identify them by voice right now, but someone else will. Even if people can’t tell, there are professional tools. The culprit won’t escape this.”
“On it!” Jenny acted quickly.
“What do you mean?” Fabio frowned. “You want this filth displayed like it’s an honor? Let me remove it before mare students see it and save your reputation.”
“What about my reputation?” Rebecca frowned. “I’m the victim. The people who framed me are the ones who should be ashamed. Why should I hide? My integrity is intact.”
“I didn’t mean it like that,” Fabio said hurriedly. “It’s just better if fewer people see it, right? You’re a senior who should focus on studying. Why get dragged into this mess? It could affect your studies.”
“If I let this go today, that’s what would affect my studies!” Rebecca said firmly. “Didn’t you say you would clear my name?”
“Then what do you want?” Fabio looked frustrated.
“I want to call the police!” Rebecca said decisively. “And I want the school to hand over the security footage. Also, this scene can’t be disturbed. There might be fingerprints or other traces on the glass, photo, and paper. I’m staying right here until the police arrive to collect the forensic evidence.”
