Forced To Be The Mafia King's Bride (by Oma Green) novel Chapter 239

Gianna chuckled, and fury flashed through me.

"What?" I demanded. "You're mocking my feelings?"

"No!" She waved her hand, still smiling, seemingly oblivious to the danger she was in. "No, I'm not. It's just... I never thought I'd see the great Dante DeLuca worry about another man."

"I'm not too proud to acknowledge my shortcomings."

"Being older isn't a shortcoming." She stood, moving around the table with that graceful sway of her hips, sliding into my lap like she belonged there.

Her arms wrapped around my neck, fingers threading through my hair. "On the contrary, I appreciate your experience. Everything you've taught me."

"You say that now, but..."

She pressed a finger to my lips, silencing me. "I know we met under unconventional circumstances. You bought me, caged me, broke my soul and body until I was completely yours."

Her smile turned wicked, dangerous. "And somehow, through all of that, I fell for you. You have my heart, Dante. You have nothing to worry about."

Warning bells rang in my head at her casual tone, at how easily she dismissed my concerns. "Gianna, if I ever find you with another man..."

My voice dropped to a warning note that made grown men piss themselves. "I'll kill him, slowly and painfully. I'll make him beg for death. And then I'll punish you in ways that will make our games look like foreplay."

"No more shooting people," she teased, but I saw the heat flash in her eyes at my possessive words, and her thighs pressed together.

"I'm dead serious."

"I know." She leaned in, her lips brushing my jaw, sending electricity down my spine. "And I'm serious too. You're stuck with me, old man."

"Old man?" I growled, my hands gripping her hips hard enough to bruise. "I'll show you old."

I rose from my seat in one fluid motion, lifting her with me. She squealed as I spun her around, her body pressed against mine, her laughter ringing out across the beach.

"Oh, Dante, don't be dramatic!" she giggled, swatting at my chest playfully.

"Dramatic? Pretty doll, I haven't even started."

Soft music drifted from the speakers I'd hidden in the palm trees, a slow, sensual melody that seemed to pulse with the waves. Lucia knew the perfect timing. She had to be somewhere nearby, watching, making sure everything went according to plan.

I set Gianna on her feet, extending my hand with mock formality. "Dance with me."

She placed her hand in mine, and I pulled her flush against me, one arm wrapped possessively around her waist, our bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces designed specifically for each other.

We swayed to the music, her head resting on my chest, and I nuzzled into her neck, breathing her in like she was oxygen and I was drowning.

"You smell divine," I murmured against her skin, my lips grazing her pulse point. "Like flowers and ocean and something that's purely you."

"You smell pretty good yourself," she whispered back, her voice already breathless. "Like expensive cologne and danger."

My hand slid lower on her back, pressing her closer until there was no space between us. Her breath hitched, and my other hand tangled in her silky hair, tilting her head back so I had access to her throat, so I could see the desire darkening her eyes.

Her lips parted, her pupils blown wide with need, and whatever control I'd been clinging to started crumbling.

"Fuck, Gianna." My voice was rough, raw. "I don't know if I can wait. I want you so fucking bad it hurts."

Her breathing quickened, her fingers clutching at my shirt like she was trying to anchor herself. "God, I want you."

The desperation in her voice snapped my control.

I kissed her then, hard and intense, pouring all my need, obsession into it.

She moaned into my mouth, her body melting against mine, every soft curve pressed against my hard planes.

My cock was rock hard, throbbing against her stomach, and I gripped her ass with both hands, grinding against her so she felt exactly what she did to me, what she always did to me.

"Dante," she gasped against my lips.

"Feel that?" I growled, grinding harder. "That's what you do to me. Every fucking second of every goddamn day. I'm constantly hard for you. Constantly aching."

She whimpered, her hips rolling against mine in instinctive response, seeking friction, seeking relief. The control I'd been desperately holding onto slipped away like water through my fingers.

My hands roamed her body possessively, her back, her ass, her thighs, mapping territory that belonged to me.

She kissed me back just as desperately, her nails digging into my shoulders through my shirt, small needy sounds escaping her throat that went straight to my cock.
