Forgotten Wife My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left (Clara and Liam) novel Chapter 225

Sienna’s POV

The moment the car came to a halt, in the garage Noah swiftly unfastened his seatbelt. Jumped out brimming with energy. It was as though school, the trip and all the talks we had earlier hadn’t tired him in the slightest. That child genuinely resembled a sun that would never fade away.

“Come on Mommy! Noah needs to have a bath!” he yelled as he pulled on my purse, which was on the verge of slipping.

1 Gripped his hand. “Alright, alright. We’ll have a bath before dinner.”

As we stepped inside the house a cozy warmth greeted us.

I set the groceries and Noah’s school bag on the table removed my shoes and then led him to the bathroom.

“Noah, would you prefer a bath or a warm one?” I inquired as I gathered a towel and fresh clothes.

He bit his lip deep, in thought. Suddenly his eyes gleamed.

“Mommy, Noah is asking for a bubble bath!”

I chuckled. “A bubble bath? That’s quite a demand.”

“Pleeeease!” he clasped his hands over his chest resembling a kitten.”Alright, alright. For today.” I said, tousling his hair. “Be careful not to let the bubbles overflow, from the tub okay?”

Noah gave a nod although I was fully aware it really signified nothing.

I began fitting the bathtub with warm water. The sweet strawberry scent of bubble soap filled the room, and Noah was already jumping with excitement, pulling off his school uniform in a way that made me have to remind him

“Be cautious to avoid soaking your shirt.” I cautioned as he almost submerged the edge into the basin that was only half-filled.

Noah swiftly took off his shirt. Threw it into the laundry basket as if he were making a basketball shot.

“Three points!!” he exclaimed with pride.

I Shook my head. “Yes yes. Noah is fantastic.”

He raised both arms in triumph feeling proud. Then he picked up his rubber duck from the little rack, by the sink and gazed at me as if he were hammering out a very important deal.

“Mommy, is it okay for the duck to go ahead?”

“Yes. Softly.” I remarked while adding extra soap to the swelling water.

With a plop! the rubber duck dropped into the water.Immediately began to float. Noah applauded softly as if witnessing the extraordinary event of the day.

I plunged my hand into the water. The heat felt ideal, against my skin.

“Noah please remove your pants now!” I said softly.”

Mommy is here to help alright?”

He gave a nod. Extended his arms slightly as I took off the remainder of his garments. After that I gently raised him into the bathtub.

Soon as his feet met the soft warm bubbles he exhaled with contentment.

“Ahhh, this is incredibly pleasant.”

The bubbles became denser, drifting gently across the surface. Noah cupped some in his palms. Blew bubbles that drifted like delicate snow scented with sweet

strawberries.

“Mommy, look!” he exclaimed, setting the foam on his head as if it were a hat. “I’m Santa!”

I suppressed a chuckle. “Santa, with a strawberry scent really?”

“Yes!. This Santa solely delivers gifts to Mommy and Daddy!” he announced with pride.

“Wow, Mommy must be so fortunate.” I said, preventing the bubbles from spilling onto the floor. He laughed openly and joyfully. His chuckle filled the room with brightness.

I rested on the bathroom floor leaning against the wall observing my son as he played in his little universe.

“A little grandpa,” I joked.

He picked up bubbles and placed them atop his head. ”

Now Noah looks like Santa Claus!”

I held my belly from laughing much. “Oh my gosh you’re absolutely adorable.”

Following a period of playing I grabbed a small ladle and softly started washing the bubbles off his face.

“Noah, close your eyes.”

He complied. I shampooed his hair and wiped down hisfragrant body ensuring he was truly clean even though i spent much of the time struggling to hold back laughter at his playful behavior.

“Mommy,” he whispered gently while | was towel-drying his hair. “If Noah takes up taekwondo Mommy will come to see Noah train won’t you?”

That inquiry caused me to hesitate briefly. I knelt down so that our gazes met evenly.

“Certainly, Mommy will arrive,

“I replied softly.

He grinned with relief then embraced me while still half-covered by the towel, which looked like a superhero cape.

1 returned the hug gently rubbing his little back.

Moments like this are simple, yet priceless.

I grinned, pushing the strands of hair away from his brow.

“Okay let’s wash more,” I remarked, teasingly squeezing his nose.
