And then on his eighteenth birthday, he killed his father. And the fucked up part was that his father didnt struggle. He was already fucked up because he didn’t get the type of love he wanted from his mother, and he died happily under the knife of his son.”

“Seb’s mother loved his father, but she was too traumatized to show him that, and his father kept trying to make her happy. Took her out on dates, bought her literally everything she could ask for, opened a business for her, but she didn’t open up. She would keep quiet like a mute around him, and it frustrated his father. Even Seb wasn’t sure about his mother’s feelings for his father until he killed him. He expected his mother to be happy and free, but it only got worse. His mother fell into depression and couldn’t handle his father’s death, then killed herself two years later.” I I concluded.

The air felt too tight when I was done. Everything came out, and my breathing started getting heavy because Sebastian didn’t deserve that, but it still happened to him. Eloise looked like she had been hit by a truck, but by a truckload of information.

“Oh my days. Poor Sebastian. He must have felt so alone.” She said, I could see the

empathy in his eyes.

“And he swore that he wouldn’t ever have a kid. He was scared that he would turn out like his father, and then he would have to die at the hands of his child.” I explained.

“But it doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t. Sebastian will be an amazing father.”

“But he doesn’t believe that, and he’s convinced about it,” I said. “So do you understand why I’m panicking right now? Because this could either break or make us. And I can’t abort a baby. It’s not in my DNA to do that.” I explained.

“I understand now. I understand, but still, we have to do something about it; we can’t just keep it a secret forever.”

“I can’t even keep any secrets from him; he knows me too well, and one look from him, I’m spilling everything.”

“Come here.” She said and pulled me into a hug.

I folded into the hug because I actually needed this. I needed the hug so bad; I felt alone, even though I wasn’t alone, because I had to make this decision by myself. I could either abort the baby and make Sebastian happy or keep the baby and break us, but I can’t abort my baby.

I just can’t.

And the thought of losing Sebastian? My mate? It made it hard to breathe.

“And you won’t. You won’t have to, we will find a way to address it. And before we can do anything about it, you need to inform Sebastian first. Or do you need me there when you do it?” She asked me, and I shook my head as I got out of the hug.

“No, I have to do this myself. He’s my baby, but I’m not sure what he’ll be after I tell him. What about we both shop for that lingerie together, a wild thought just entered my mind now.” I told her and she smirked.

“Okay, we both buy them sexy things and then go back home to fuck our husbands. The reason I’m doing this is that it might be the last time we do it if Sebastian decides to break up with me, and I need to feel him one last time before things break off. You also have a reason. Now what do you think about it?” I asked her, and she laughed.

“You evil witch, you always have something up your sleeve.” She laughed, and I joined her.

“Of course, it’s not easy to be a lady in this world, so you always gotta be prepared. So what do you say we both get our sexy asses to that boutique and get some mouth watering, men dropping down to their knees lingerie?” I asked her, and she smiled.

“Deal.” She said, and we both stood up and walked out.

I walked to the passenger seat and watched her talk to
