The house was lighter this morning when we all woke up. Damon and I were still on our celibacy journey, nothing was going wrong, and then there were Alexis and Sebastian, who had been giggling like two high school kids since breakfast started. In fact, Alexis was sitting down on Sebastian’s lap, and they were both looking at each other like they wanted to strip.

“You guys should please treat this place like a dining room, not your bedroom,” I said, scoffing.

I was happy for my friend; things were going right for her, her man had apologized, and she even got to have sex with him. But here I was, sex starved, and I think it’s starting to frustrate every part of me.

“Oh, please, you’re just jealous,” Lex said, giving me a knowing look. She was low–key telling me that I was the one who refused to have any sexual stuff with my husband. But I wanted to know, and this man was acting so oblivious, or is he really oblivious? Fuck.

“Allow me, please. I was away from my wife for hours, and I’m trying to catch up on that.” Seb said, and I just rolled my eyes.

Damon kept quiet through all of this, as usual; he didn’t say a word. He just kept eating. If I didn’t know that this was behavior, I’d probably think he was annoyed or something.

“Dude, did you later sign that deal?” Seb asked Damon.

“Yeah, I did,” he said.

“How’s it going? Do you think the endgame will be possible?” he asked. They were speaking in cryptic, and I knew it.

“It’s going well, and yes, the end game isn’t going to affect.”

“Good, let’s talk more about it when we are dining for breakfast. I have something else to let you know.” Sebastian said, and Damon nodded.

We all had a silent breakfast after that, except for Alexis, who kept giggling like a school kid at the silly things that Sebastian did.

The men went into the study after breakfast to talk business, I guess.

“Girl, you are so sexually frustrated,” Lex said as she plopped down on the couch beside me.

“Me? And how did you arrive at this conclusion?” I asked, feigning pretense.

“It’s all over your face. You’d better do something real quick about your situation with Damon, or you D turn to the grouch, or become the witch of the west to your employees, and then they will all re–sign, and you’ll be left alone,” she said, and I laughed.

“Your imagination is so wild. Not having sex can never get me like that, ever. It’s just something that I’ll keep battling with within me. I’ll be fine. I think I want to stop giving him the signs now; it’s been through weeks, and he’s still not getting the whole idea. He’s probably oblivious ir intentionally ignoring it.” I sighed.

“And it already feels like I’m making a fool of myself,” I told her, and she frowned.

“Come on now. Don’t feel weird. Have you guys even talked about it? Like, have you told him you don’t want to go on the celibacy journey again?” She asked me, and I shook my head.

“No, but I’ve been giving him obvious signs. And that’s it.” I said, finality sounding in my voice.

“If that’s what you want, but there are some times that men don’t know things for real unless you actually tell them with your mouth. Everything you’ve been doing might be just speculation to him, and he might not want to cross the line.” I said.

“Now let’s forget your moping story, how are the plans coming up for the Lunar fashion night?” she asked.

“It’s going well. The event is in two days. Zara and I have been putting things together so that we will be ready. I just can’t wait to see the looks on their faces. Summer will be surprised that we know these things because she tried so hard to keep them under wraps, but now we know.” I explained to her.

“I feel like a bad friend because I’m not supporting you during these times,” she pouted.

“Come on, it’s fine. I know Sebastian won’t let you go anywhere apart from his side. You’re doing fine by just being there for me, knowing I have you makes things better.” I said, and her eyes got teary.

“Oh my goodness, are you about to cry now?” I asked her in a high–pitched tone, and she glared at me.
