All the talents arrived earlier today, before they did, I told the maids to prepare a feast in the gardens. And right now, they were all chattering and laughing, and some were even eating like they hadn’t before and when I asked, they told me that it was because the Lockwoods never allowed them to eat normal food like this.

“Its fine. You all deserve this and more, let me address the rest of you now. Take your seat.” I told her and she nodded and took her seat on the large table beside me.

I took my glass of champagne and used my spoon to hit it to call the attention of the talents. A second later, everywhere was silent.

“Hi again guys. So, I’m glad that you all have your freedom now. And you have your freedom for real, but you guys need to make a decision, a decision that you will make of your own free will.” I said, allowing it to sink into their minds. I need to emphasize that everything they would be doing will be of their own will and nothing more. I didn’t want them to feel like they had to do something because I asked them to.

“So the whole reason I started this movement and took you all out of that place was that, I have some scores to settle with them. They used to be my family, but they betrayed me. And they are still betraying me. So my plan is to take everything away from them starting from the company. What you need to make a decision is whether you’d like to stay or leave. You can leave if you have your family to get back to, or if you don’t want to be here.”

“I’ll even help you find a job and a way to keep you stable out there. I won’t fire you to stay here. And if you choose to stay, I have a building inside the palace, it’s right behind my building, and it’ll contain all thirty–five of you in different rooms, I had that prepared for this moment. And I’m also working on hiring the best talents in the world to come and train you and make you better, so you can start earning money with your talents. You’ll be provided with food, shelter, and clothing. And you can decorate the rooms any way you’d like. I already told Lyra that you guys can make it look anyhow, it’s yours.” I said, looking at all of them, trying to see what they’re thinking.

“And once I get the company of my family and take it from them, I’ll sign you guys properly, and you can actually perform and not waste your talent for anybody. So now, if you check the front of your plates, there’s a remote there, you press the red button if you want to leave and we will start making the arrangements right away, and the green if you want to stay, and then you can make yourself feel at home. It’ll reflect on the big TV in front of us. You can go ahead now.” I said with a smile and I watched as they took the remote.

I took my gaze away from them to the TV and watched as the thirty–five boxes on the TV turned green. I was surprised
