By the time I got to the meeting room with the girls, my mood had changed and I was now in a bossy bitch mood. No rubbish would be allowed.

They all stood up when they saw me, and you could see the veins protruding from their skin, they obviously wanted to say something. But they stopped themselves when I didn’t even pay them any heed.

Once I was spotted and the girls were too, I finally looked at them. All of them were here, and I smirked, I like how bothered they all are. For all of them to be here, that means what I did hit them where they didn’t like and I loved it. I was here for things like that.

“How may I help you?” I asked after a long pause.

“How dare you take our talents away from us? How dare-” Julian started pointing at me, but was stopped by Antoine.

“Your majesty, why did you take our people like that? It felt like stealing on our part.” Antoine said softly and I looked at him with a smile.

“Oh someone with sense. The information that reached me was that you had a lot of shady dealings in that place and I’m swooping in, this is to inform you that you’d be seeing more of me soon.” I said. Confusion was bestowed upon all of them.

They wanted to know what I meant but I wasn’t going to talk more about it, that was all they were going to know.

“But whg would you ever-” My father started and I looked at him really. Old age was really catching up with him. He wasn’t in his prime like he used to be once upon a time. His face was wrinkled and his hair was mostly white now.

“Thats why your son just called me her majesty. I’m the Queen here and even if I didn’t have any reason, I can take anything I want without your permission, I don’t need to explain myself to anybody.” I said to him.

“I explained because Antoine seems to be the only person here who has enough sense to address me properly. If any of you try that rubbish again, it won’t take me anything to tell them to lock you up.” I said and they all kept quiet.

Summer had a lot to say but she was quiet. She has been released from prison. Damon made it hard for them to release her, and at the end of the day I thought about it, I still had a lot of things to expose about her and it wouldn’t be as satisfying if she’s already in prison. Which is exactly the reason I told Damon to release her from prison.

They would think it was one of their insiders that helped, they would not know that I was the one pulling all the strings from here. That was exactly what I wanted to happen.

“So why exactly do you feel like you have a right to take the talents? Have you forgotten that you owe us? You belong to the company yourself?” my mother said and I rolled my eyes.

“I don’t belong to anybody. The share you want me to sign over was given to me by my grandmother and I refuse to give it to any of you. You just want to squander it and spend it on rubbish like you have been doing.” I said.

“Don’t ever speak when speaking, Julian. I don’t care for you and it won’t take me anything to call on the enforcers to throw you in my husband’s dungeon and trust me, it’s no fun.” I said and he froze.

Yeah, I wanted them to have that feeling. They must have heard the tales of the popular dungeon that was designed and created by Damon himself. No one knows the location but it was very much real.

“So ill advice you to tread carefully,” I said and I looked at Antoine to see his reaction, he wasn’t looking at me, or paying attention to anything that was happening in the room, I followed his gaze and saw that he was staring intently at Zara. Like he had something he wanted to tell her.

He had a look in his eyes that I couldn’t place.

Was that yearning? Shit.

I looked at Zara but she wasn’t even looking at him, she was staring anywhere else but at him. Fuck.

We would talk about this later, but I hope things will turn out nicely for them. I didn’t mind Zara liking him, but I didn’t know what Antoine thought most of the time. He was stone cold as a person but I knew that he was a bad person for being a part of whatever they had going on in the company.

I cleared my brain of their matter and went back to the matter at hand.

“Is that all?” I asked them.
