The rest of the night was amazing as it should be. It made me feel like I was getting something right in this journey of being this person that people look up to, I didn’t want to not be that

The talents were all eating and talking amongst themselves right now and I excused myself with Lex. She would soon start going home, she misses her husband.

“What do you think about the way Zara has been acting?” Lex asked and I nodded my head.

“I know right…I’ve been thinking about it and I wonder what exactly is wrong with her and why she has been behaving that way. I think it started on the night of the ball. The way she just locked up and changed.” I said.

“Yeah, I noticed too and she doesn’t look like she wants us to ask her.”

“Maybe we should give her time?” I asked.

“That would be the best solution but you already know that she doesn’t open up if we don’t intervene. Look at the last time with Antoine. We had to barge into her house and make her tell us what the problem was.”

“That’s a good point, I don’t want her to withdraw from us. She said she has to go to the bar later today, she’s filling in for a friend.”

“Yeah, we should check in tomorrow. I’m too tired to even do anything, and I want my husband to hold me. It’s one of these emotional days.” she said and I laughed.

“Sorry, my friend. Just a few more weeks and we will be ready to push that baby out.” I said and she glared at me.

“What do you mean few more weeks, I have three more months, that’s like twelve weeks if counted properly and you’re saying I have a few weeks left? Oh please…and don’t forget, I’ll keep praying for your own pregnancy,” she said and it was my turn to glare at her.

“Stop it,” I said.

“But what is it with you and not entertaining the thought of getting pregnant?” she asked me I thought about it, I’ve never actually thought about it like that.

“I don’t know, I’ve just not really thought about it the way I should. I don’t know if I want a baby. Damon and I haven’t even talked about it. I guess I need more time.” I explained.

“That makes sense. But start thinking about it, and try to have the conversation with Damon and gauge his reaction to what he thinks,” she told me and I nodded.

“I will,” I said.

“Good.”

We both walked to Seb’s car that was waiting in front of the porch. He was talking with Damon. She walked into her husband’s arms and I did the same. Damon held me like he didn’t see me just a few hours ago.

“I’ve missed you,” he whispered in my ears and I just smiled.

“I missed you too,” I said. He kissed my forehead and I watched Seb help Lex into the car.

He patted Damon’s back and waved at me.

“Bye, guys.”

“Bye, friend.” Lex waved from inside the car and we watched them pull away.

“Let’s get you warm,” Damon said and held my hand, we both walked into the house.

I don’t know, but I feel satisfied. I am satisfied, everything that has been happening finally felt like it had an end goal after taking everything from the Lockwoods, I can’t wait to expose Summer too and then be done with all of these.

I have come a long way and thinking about it, I’m glad that I met Damon, I couldn’t believe that it happened, but I’m glad it did. And we fell in love, and he’s obsessed with me. What more could I ask for?

When we got back into the room, we just lay down on the bed together. Lost in each other’s thoughts until I decided to break the silence.

“What do you think about kids?” I said without thinking, just putting my thoughts out there really.

He was silent for a whole as if he was deliberating on what to say.
