From Rejected Mate to Luna
Chapter 119
“Not yet,” I grinned. “I want to surprise you.”
“That’s not fair,” she pouted.
“Trust me,” I said, kissing her softly. “It’s a good one.”
“You know,” I said, tracing Julia’s cheek with my fingertip, “I just
realized you’ve never once called me ‘Alpha.“”
She smiled, meeting my gaze with those warm honey–brown eyes.
“That’s because you’re not my Alpha. We’re from different packs,
remember?”
Something primal surged inside me at her words. Hati, my wolf, paced
restlessly, urging me to claim her, to make her ours completely. I
clenched my jaw, feeling the tension radiate through my body as I
fought against the overwhelming instinct to mark her right then and
there.
“You have no idea,” I said, my voice dropping to a rough whisper, “how much I want you to be mine. How much I want to make you my mate.” I trailed my fingers down her throat to the spot where my mark would go. “How much I want to hear you call me Alpha when I’m inside you.”

I watched her breath catch, saw the flush spread across her skin at my
words. I hadn’t meant to be so blunt, but seeing her beneath me,
knowing she was willing to give herself to me but not fully commit
yet–it drove me to a kind of honesty I couldn’t filter.
I wanted her submission to be freely given, not demanded or coerced.
I wanted her to choose me completely, in her own time.
“Matthew,” she whispered, pulling me closer.
I held her gaze, letting her see everything I felt–the promise of
patience alongside the depth of my need. Someday, I hoped, she
would be ready to belong to my pack, my world. And when that day
came, hearing her call me Alpha would mean so much more than just
acknowledging my position of power.
“Daniel wanted my family’s approval before he would even consider
marking me,” she said hesitantly. “Is that… is that something you’re
worried about too?”
I didn’t need to think about my answer. “No.” I cupped her face in my
hands, making sure she saw the conviction in my eyes. “This is
between us, Julia. Just us. If your family has concerns, we’ll address
them. If they object, we’ll work to change their minds. But their
opinions won’t change how I feel about you or what I want.”

Chapter 119
I meant every word. After losing Rachel, after years of emptiness, I’d
found something real with Julia–something I’d chosen, not
something fate had decided for me. I wouldn’t let anyone’s
disapproval take that away.
I watched something shift in her expression, a softening in her eyes
that made my chest tighten. She looked at me like no one had ever
put her first before. The realization made me want to hold her
tighter, to prove with every action that she would always be my
priority.
Julia sighed, then her lips curved into a smile that sent heat coursing
through me.
“Alright,” she said, her fingers sliding down my chest to my stomach.
“I think we’ve talked enough before sex, don’t you? Time to get to the
main event.”
I caught her hand, bringing it to my lips. “You have no idea how much
I want that,” I said, my voice rough with desire. “I just needed to be
sure you’d thought everything through.”
Instead of answering, Julia simply pushed me onto my back and
straddled my hips, her naked body glowing in the soft light. Her head
tilted slightly as she looked down at me, her hair falling like a curtain
around her face. Then, with deliberate slowness, she took my hands
and placed them on her breasts, arching into my touch with a soft
