"What makes you say that? Does this have anything to do with that assistant who just works for someone else?"

Jolie Yates met Chloe Sinclair’s impassive gaze, and a wave of panic washed over her.

She continued, "I’m only 22 this year. I have plenty of time to do research. What right do you have to say I’m going downhill? Even if I never produce another discovery, I’m still better than some assistant who just works for other people!"
