"Mr. Su wants to rent an office in Jinmao Mansion?" Emma asked curiously.

"Mhm. I recently started an investment company and happen to need office space. I came over today to see if there’s anything suitable."

Emma thought for a moment, then suggested tentatively, "Why don’t we have Xiaoli go check for suitable places later? She’s very capable in this area."

Su Chen nodded. He knew Emma was paving the way for Secretary Li, wanting to use this as an opportunity for her to showcase her abilities.

Su Chen was all for it; after all, that had been his plan from the beginning.

A glance showed it was a call from Slicong. He reached out and picked up the phone.

"I’ve been back for a while. I’m having coffee over at the IFC right now. What’s up? Need something?"

"Nothing major. There’s a luxury car show tomorrow, just calling to see if you’re interested in checking it out."

"A luxury car show?" Su Chen’s interest was piqued. He was already considering buying a more business-appropriate sedan, like a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley. ’I can’t just keep driving an Aston Martin all the time, right!’

Su Chen’s lips curled into a sly grin. "Sure. Let’s go together tomorrow. You can come pick me up."

"Pick you up? What the hell, are you treating me like your chauffeur?!"

"Just say if you’re coming or not!" Su Chen said, as if he had Slicong completely wrapped around his finger.

"Fine, fine, fine! You’re the boss. I’ll be in the garage waiting for you at nine tomorrow morning!" Slicong said before immediately hanging up, as if afraid that if they talked any longer, he’d want to go head-to-head with Su Chen right then and there.

Looking at the disconnected call, Su Chen laughed happily.
