Chapter 54 The Choice
Nira’s POV:
The pressure settled over me all at once.

I looked at the three of them, then spoke carefully, testing the words as they left my mouth. “What if I… take all three?”
For a moment, no one reacted.
Then all three of them stared at me like I’d just said something completely absurd.
“What?”
The room fell into a brief silence before erupting into overlapping reactions.
Vaughn was the first to regain his composure. He looked at me seriously, his tone turning firm. “Nira, you need to think about this realistically. Without a wolf spirit, your stamina is already below average. Taking on three majors at once would be overwhelming.”
Alden shook his head immediately. “You’re making it sound way too easy. Forget conflicts in scheduling, just the combined workload, assignments, and exams alone would burn you out.”
Rowan frowned, clearly unconvinced. “This isn’t simple addition. These are three complex disciplines, each with its own system. Even top–tier students would struggle to keep up with that kind of load.”
Graham didn’t respond right away. He took a moment to think, then said slowly, “It’s true that no one here has ever done it before. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.”
The other three turned to him in disbelief, their expressions practically asking if he’d lost his mind.
I met their gaze calmly, a small, confident smile forming. “Just because no one else has done it doesn’t mean I can’t.”
“Now that’s bold,” Rowan suddenly laughed, the tension breaking as his expression shifted completely. “I like that.”
The sudden change caught everyone off guard.
When he finished laughing, Rowan looked at me with clear approval. “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a student with this kind of drive. If you’re willing to take it on, I’ll support you.”

Alden still looked uneasy, his brows tightly drawn together. “This isn’t something to take lightly. If she spreads herself too thin and ends up with nothing, what then? That’s her future on the line.”
Vaughn nodded in agreement. “Exactly. The ambition is admirable, but the risk is real. Nira, you should think carefully before committing to something like this.”
Graham raised a hand slightly, stopping them from continuing. “I understand your concerns. But if Nira is determined, we should give her the opportunity.”
I looked at him, sincerity in my voice. “Thank you, Graham. I’ll manage my time carefully. I won’t fall behind in any of them.”
He nodded with a faint smile. “Alright. Then it’s settled. Get ready, Nira. This won’t be easy. The school will support you, but in the end, it all comes down to you.”
“I understand.” I held his gaze, steady and certain. “I’m ready.”
While I was in Graham’s office, surrounded by professors arguing over my future and on the other side of campus, Janice was scrolling through the school forum, a slow, satisfied smile forming on her lips.
A post about me had already spread across the entire platform.
The comment section was filled with doubt, ridicule, and outright hostility.
“Nira,” she murmured under her breath, her tone laced with malice, “let’s see how you get out of this one.”
Today was supposed to be the official release of the special evaluation results.
But the ranking list still hadn’t been posted.
Students crowded around the bulletin board, conversations buzzing in low, restless waves.
“Do
you
think what people are saying on the forum is actually true?”
“With the results delayed this long? It’s starting to feel like it might be.”
“Wasn’t Kade’s engagement to Nira from Blazeborn Pack just strategic? Then why make her this high–profile?”
“Maybe that was part of her deal.”
