Alden furrowed his brows.

It was clear this was an illusion.

Shadowrend’s reaction was fast, but the Yellow–Furred Weasel raised its hand and released Soul Absorption, instantly killing Shadowrend.

Alden sighed.

This was Shadowrend’s third death today.

A cold glint flashed in Alden’s eyes as he fired another arrow, hitting the creature’s left leg. The Yellow–Furred Weasel staggered, losing its balance and falling forward.

Alden’s eyes gleamed coldly. Now that the creature was floating, dealing with it would be much easier.
