Chapter 50 Get Fountain Camped Twice in One Day

Alden glared at Drymora, teeth clenched. “No. You still have a conscience. If you were really gone, you wouldn’t even talk to me-you’d just kill me on sight

Drymora’s eyes glowed icy blue.

The only reason I didn’t kill you right away is that it’s been too long since I’ve talked to anyone.”

The words barely faded before Drymora slammed his palm into Alden’s chest.

His health bar disappeared in an instant.

The next moment, he respawned in Astralon’s Darkwind City.

Death came with a cooldown before you could move again, so Alden could only wait to

respawn.

“Citywide alert! A heinous criminal has entered Darkwind City! The city lord issues an emergency quest: Hunt down the criminal!”

“Citywide alert! A heinous criminal has entered Darkwind City! The city lord issues an emergency quest: Hunt down the criminal!”

Every player in Darkwind City suddenly got a new quest.

Quest: Hunt the Criminal

Objective: Kill the criminal (an adventurer with over 10,000 PK Points) one hundred times. Progress: 0/100

Penalty: None

Reward: Each kill gives one bronze item and ten free attribute points

What the… ?!

Players’ faces lit up in shock.

“What did I just see? This is basically a free loot quest!”

“Find out who that player is with over 10,000 PK Points! Let me kill him 100 timest

10 Free Coins

“Ten points each kill-that’s 1,000 attribute points for 100 kills… and 100 bronze equipment? If I solo him, I’d basically ascend on the spot.”

“Calm down. We don’t even know what this guy did to get over 10,000 PK Points.”

The city buzzed with excitement.

Meanwhile, Alden just stood there, speechless.

What did I ever do to deserve this?

They actually put a bounty on me.

He glanced at the respawn timer, already planning how to escape.

Should I fight my way out?

Maybe that’s the only real option.

After all, PK Points can’t be hidden-they hover above my head in huge, bright red numbers.

Sneaking out quietly? Forget it. Not happening.

So, yeah… The only way is to fight through.

He strapped on the Ninefold Longbow and the Bloodthirst Necklace, drank speed and shield potions, and got ready to sprint.

He had to give a shoutout to those generous souls in Rookie Village-all that loot they dropped when he died had really come in handy.

But just before he could move, another announcement rolled in-this time nationwide.

“Nationwide announcement: A heinous criminal has entered Astralon! The King of Astralon issues an emergency quest: Hunt down the criminal!”

Alden was stunned.

Who did I piss off this badly?

Now it’s not just Darkwind City going crazy-it’s all of Astralon.

That meant the players in the entire Lardovia region were fired up.

+10 Free Coins

Because until their second class change, every player in Lardovia could only stay in Astralon.

“Damn! The king’s reward is even better-double Darkwind City’s payout! I love it!”

“Hahaha, PK adventurer, just give yourself up. You can’t hide. Turning into our loot and free points is the honor of your life.”

“Usually we hunt bosses together-now we hunt PK players. But seriously, how did this guy even grind PK Points that high?”

The whole region erupted.

Finally, Alden revived.

Level one.

Yep-he was now level one.

With PK Points that high, dying once wiped out all his levels and experience.

The instant he stepped out of the Darkwind City revival altar, he went full speed toward the gates.

But the bright red I million PK Points over his head was like a neon sign.

“There he is!”

“Is that the PK player?”

“Holy shit!!”

“A million PK Points!”

“Kill him!”

Chapter 30 Get Fountain Camped Twice in One Day

In the main city. PK players weren’t protected-anyone could attack them.

Alden couldn’t care less about anything else now,

He couldn’t fight back.

If he attacked, it wouldn’t just be players chasing him-the city guards would join too.

And if they caught him? He’d be locked up, the sentence based on PK Points.

With a million points, he’d basically be in prison forever.

Fighting the guards wasn’t an option either. One hit from them and, with his zero resistances, he’d be gone in less than a second.

So, before leaving Darkwind City, his only choice was to run.

Being level one meant he could hardly use any weapons.

He had his Purifying Pendant, the Ninefold Longbow, and the Bloodthirst Necklace.

But none of them boosted his resistances.

Which meant every hit he took was True Damage.
