“D*mn! Who is this guy? How could someone solo the Rookie Village boss?”

“Frost King? I’ve never heard of this ID before. Does anyone know which guild he belongs to?”

“Isn’t the trigger condition for the Rookie Village boss extremely harsh? How did he do it? I’ve heard there are ten bosses in the Rookie Village, yet none have been triggered so far.”

Players across the board were abuzz with discussion, especially top–tier gamers who knew just how absurd it was to solo a boss at this game stage.

Alden didn’t pay any attention to the chatter. After learning a new skill, he shifted his focus to the weapon he had received as a

reward.

Equip Requirement: No level restriction, Archer–only.

Effect 1: Attack +300.

Effect 2: Critical Chance +15%.

Effect 3: 15% chance to inflict paralysis on attack.

Effect 4: 15% chance to splash damage to nearby enemies on the attack.

Looking at the bow’s attributes, Alden was dumbfounded.

“What kind of subpar stats are these!?”

To Alden, the paralysis effect seemed to be the only redeeming quality, and even that had a disappointingly low activation rate.

As for attack power, he didn’t care; with his ability to stack health endlessly, attack stats were meaningless.

In short, this weapon was only marginally useful in the Rookie Village.

This is a Silver–tier weapon, yet Alden felt like the system was just trolling him.

Absolutely ridiculous.

This was straight–up a system gank.

Rubbing his hands together, Alden fixed his eyes on the Twisted Treant King.

Finally, it was time for everyone’s favorite moment: the loot collection.

Examining the loot, Alden realized most of it was either useless to him or had limited utility, except for one item: the Revival skill.

Effect: Regenerate 1 HP per second, unaffected by interruptions.

Cooldown: None.

Cost: None.

Proficiency: 0/1000 (Proficiency equals HP restored. Note: This skill has no star limit.)

At first, Alden didn’t think much of the skill. But when he read the proficiency description, he froze.

“Wait, is this the system’s way of surprising me?”

With his Heaven’s Hand talent allowing infinite health stacking, this skill was the perfect match.

Automatic healing, in some ways, was even more insane than lifesteal.

“Learn.”

Alden directly learned this skill.

Revival (Passive Skill): 3–Star.

Effect: Regenerate 50 HP per second, unaffected by interruptions.

Cooldown: None.

Cost: None.

Proficiency: 25,130/100,000 (Proficiency equals HP restored. Note: This skill has no star limit.)

With this skill, Alden felt like his survivability had skyrocketed.

“Get over here, Skyspire Shield! Want to level up or not?”

Alden muted private messages and friend requests, sending a single message to Skyspire Shield. Then, he returned to grinding

mobs.

Equipping the Thunderstorm Bow, Alden aimed at a Twisted Treant’s core.

At the same time, a streak of lightning arced from the Elite Twisted Treant, chaining to five other nearby Twisted Treants in rapid

succession.

One by one, the damage numbers floated up. The injured Treants swarmed toward Alden, but he remained unfazed.

Critical hit, critical hit, and another critical hit.

Alden’s 16% critical chance was already high for this game stage.

Coupled with precision strikes that boosted critical damage, he only needed four arrows to take down a Twisted Treant that would normally require 12.

Thanks to Lightning Jump, after the first Twisted Treant went down, the rest of the chain lost 608 HP each.

As Alden kited them around, more and more Twisted Treants began piling up behind him.

“This Lightning Jump is such a double–edged sword,” he muttered. “Pulling this much aggro at once? If I can’t handle it, I’m toast in two hits.”

He glanced back at the growing mob of Treants, feeling like he could cry from the stress.

Luckily, his attack speed was insane–four arrows every two seconds, enough to easily take down a single treant.

Thanks to the chain lightning effect, the remaining treants in the group now only needed three arrows–sometimes just two.

Ding! “You’ve leveled up to Level 7. Attribute Points +5.”

Without hesitation, Alden dumped all his points into attack speed. His previous 2.13 attack speed climbed to 2.23.

“Yo, Frost King! I’m here!”

Skyspire Shield finally arrived, casually late as usual. He showed up just in time to witness Alden’s insane grinding efficiency.

“Frost King, you’re even stronger now, huh?”

Alden sent him a party invite. This time, as usual, the experience was split 90/10-90% for Skyspire Shield and 10% for himself.

The next few hours flew by as Alden helped Skyspire Shield complete his quest, clearing Twisted Treant rapidly.

With his upgraded 2.23 attack speed and Lightning Jump, it only took Alden three hours to power–level Skyspire Shield to Level 10.

He’d also farmed up the promised Treant Set after killing countless Elite Twisted Treants.

When Skyspire Shield equipped the full set and saw how his stats had skyrocketed, his jaw practically hit the floor.

“Frost King, this set… it’s absolutely insane!”

The two–piece set bonus alone was borderline game–breaking.

“I’ve also got two Black Iron level equipment from the Twisted Treant King. They won’t mess with your set bonuses and will boost your stats even further,” Alden said casually.

“How much?”

By now, Skyspire Shield had spent enough time with Alden to know his business style.

“Fifty thousand dollars per piece.”

Skyspire Shield twitched. Alden was shameless, pure and simple.

“Fifty thousand dollars for Black Iron equipment. Fine.”

After a brief hesitation, Skyspire Shield agreed. Only someone as loaded as him would consider dropping 100,000 dollars on transitional gear.

As amazing as the set was, it was only Level 10 gear–he’d outgrow it within a week.

The instant Alden received the 100,000 dollars transfer, a grin spread across his face.

“Pleasure doing business with you. I’ll probably farm more gear down the line–let’s keep in touch.”
