Game Over Not Over for Me novel Chapter 93

**Chapter 93: The Real Rookie Village**

“Absolutely!” Ozzie beamed, his enthusiasm contagious. “For adventurers like yourself, our village truly deserves the title of the Rookie Village.”

Alden felt a flicker of surprise ignite within him. He had always known that Ozzie’s clan possessed strength that could easily outmatch the village keeper or even Roland from the so-called Rookie Village. The implication that their village was the genuine Rookie Village raised a multitude of questions in his mind. What then, he pondered, about the one they had encountered previously? Was it merely an imitation?

“I can see the gears turning in your head,” Ozzie continued, his voice steady and reassuring. “That initial Rookie Village wasn’t the authentic one. They were merely placeholders, standing in for us while we were away. Now that the spirit of the Ice Goddess has departed, it’s our time to reclaim our home and restore order.”

As Ozzie concluded his explanation, a brilliant beam of light cascaded down from the heavens, illuminating the area.

“Server-wide Announcement: The real Rookie Village is reviving. The destroyed Rookie Village will soon return.”

The announcement reverberated throughout the server, sending shockwaves through the player community.

“What on earth is happening?”

“The real Rookie Village is coming back? So, all those others we encountered were just fakes?”

“This can’t be! Are new players really going to have an edge? I can’t believe this!”

The excited chatter among players grew louder, a cacophony of disbelief and anticipation. The mere thought of witnessing the authentic Rookie Village materialize was enough to astonish anyone.

Alden stood there, his gaze fixed on the vanishing village, when suddenly, a system notification flashed before his eyes.

Ding! “You aided in the revival of the Rookie Village and have earned a reward: PK Points Removal; Rookie Village Friendship Title.”

Rookie Village Friendship Title: Special.

Effect: No matter where or when, you can designate the Rookie Village as your respawn point.

Alden scrutinized the title’s effect, a mixture of surprise and contemplation washing over him. It didn’t appear to be overwhelmingly powerful at first glance.

It merely allowed him to adjust his respawn point.

However, he acknowledged its potential utility in dodging ambushes.

Later in the game, as territories became a focal point for players, they could craft return scrolls and select their lands as respawn points. Yet, territories were not infallible; conflicts were inevitable. If an enemy force seized control of his territory, they could lie in wait at the revival altar, sending high-ranking guild members plummeting back to Level 1.

Alden had witnessed such scenarios unfold in his previous life, and it was a grim reality he hoped to avoid. But now, with this title in his possession, he could sidestep those precarious situations.

He recalled a time when he had been trapped in Darkwind City, unable to fight back as he was camped by the fountain.

With this new title, he could respawn directly in the Rookie Village, a thought that brought him a measure of relief.

Even so, he knew it wasn’t a monumental advantage.

Avoiding fountain camping? That wasn’t a pressing concern given his current strength.

Yet, having the title was undoubtedly better than having nothing at all. Titles like that came with no drawbacks.

With that thought in mind, Alden decided to move on without a second thought.

There was little left for him here.

As he exited the dungeon, he found himself back at the grand palace of the Astralon Empire.

Only a solitary priest stood guard, his expression shifting from routine vigilance to sheer disbelief upon seeing Alden.

“You… how did you manage to escape?” the priest stammered, his voice a mix of astonishment and incredulity.

“A God-Level Talent Awakening Stone,” Alden replied without hesitation.

While Talent Awakening Stones weren’t exceedingly rare, the Saint-Level and God-Level variants held immense value for him.

His talent was classified as Super God-Level, and the last God-Level stone he had used had only unlocked a fraction of its potential.

If he couldn’t acquire more God-Level stones, he risked stagnating at a three-star talent level.

Advancing from three to four stars was a crucial step, but he was uncertain whether a new God-Level stone could unlock additional aspects of his talent.

Regardless, he needed one desperately.

Abraxis pondered for a moment, his brow furrowing. “Frost King, I do possess a God-Level Talent Awakening Stone.”

“But considering this dungeon was intended to absolve your sins, asking for such a reward feels somewhat excessive.”

Alden frowned, feeling the weight of the situation. “Then what would you deem reasonable?”

Abraxis smiled, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes. “I won’t grant you a God-Level stone, but I can offer you a Saint-Level stone if that suffices.”

Alden’s expression darkened slightly. He understood he had no bargaining power in this situation.

Even if he had reservations, he knew he had to accept the offer.

“Very well, I will take the Saint-Level stone then.”

Abraxis gestured, and soon, a subordinate approached, presenting Alden with the Saint-Level Talent Awakening Stone.

He accepted it with a nod, then waved to the group. “Your Majesty, since my mission is complete, may I take my leave now?”
