Sylas' vision warped.
Without warning, the E-tier trials began.
There was a flicker in his gaze as he found this to be very odd. Usually, Elbrum would announce something. But he could only bury it to the back of his mind for the time being. He didn't like to speculate on things he didn't have enough information about.
Instead, he looked around for his teammates, only to find that they were already gone as well.
Doubly odd.
He had been about to tell them to leave as they would only complicate things, but Elbrum had done this for him as well?
Very odd, indeed.
Sylas stood in silence for a short while before he focused. He knew that this matter wasn't going to be nearly so easy. The average E-tier participating in this was orders of magnitude more powerful than the F-tiers. And his suppressive abilities didn't work as easily on them either.
However, though it would be far more difficult...
He still had every intention of coming out on top. No one here was going to be the one to stop him. π§πβ―ππππππ°π·π¦π.πΈβ΄π
A roar peeled across the skies.
"Fuck," Deacon cursed, not understanding what he was seeing at all.
Was that an E-tier Combat Mount? How could an F-tier have something like that?
Mounts weren't just something you could give to someone else. They had to be personally subdued and then tied to you, which likewise meant that all of its evolution had to be related to you as well.
The problem?
Mounts couldn't usually progress beyond the Tier you got them in. The vast majority, even the best of the best of them, would forever be stuck at the Tier they were bound in.
If there were such restrictions for Mounts, one could imagine that the restrictions for Combat Mounts were even more exaggerated than that.
Now, given Sylas' strength, one could easily say that maybe he had just targeted an E-tier from the beginning. He had just killed an elite E-tier of a top-35 Sanctum with a single punch. Was that really so hard to fathom?
The problem with that assessment was that the Hollow Wing...
Was too fucking powerful.
In a single blink, it crossed over 500 kilometers. It didn't need a rest, and in another blink, it had crossed another 500 kilometers. And before the first wave of Demons could even descend, Sylas was already no longer in his territory anymore.
This wasn't just any Combat Mount, it was a King Combat Mount.
It was completely unheard of for a King Combat Mount to submit to a user from a tier beneath itβthey would rather die. Even if it was a Primus Imperium.
That was to say that not only was this a King Combat Mount, it was a King Combat Mount with the ability to cross tiers during its evolution.
The worst part of all of this?
How many people could Sylas do that to?
Suddenly, something they thought to be a fluke had become something so much more.
Monster.
A ripple shuddered through Sylas' Will, his Primus Imperium Title and Champion Will suddenly becoming more prominent. The effectiveness of his Will shot up, and any hints of fatigue he had had were wiped away in an instant.
His eyes narrowed, not quite understanding what happened until he asked the Pride Madness Key.
Was that so? Primus Imperium responded to the acknowledgement of the people? Then why didn't Dominus Paragon match it? Was it because they didn't know about his Dominus Paragon Title? Or what about his Primus Luminaria Title?
The Hollow Wing suddenly came to a stop high above a territory. His eyes sharpened as he looked down from above.
He had to be quick, and he didn't know the layout of his Demon World just yet, so he wasn't actually sure which Sanctums were located where.
What was interesting was that the 064 Sanctum hadn't made any moves this time, so it was the 073 Sanctum alone from the bottom 60 that was participating. They likely felt that after their terrible position in the F-tier, there was no salvaging things anymore.
That was to say that when Sylas ran into the 040 Sanctum, he had run into the lowest rung Sanctum here.
It seemed his luck wasn't bad.
His palms slapped together, a surge of Aether forming into Runes as two waves of Demons formed and charged toward the unsuspecting Sanctum.
