The silence was heavy. Heavier than any silence that had come before.
Not during Sylas' battle against the Demons. Not when he killed an E-tier elite with a single strike. Not when he brought out the Hollow Wing, nor even when he used his Whale Warlord Armor.
They had already felt like Sylas was a monster. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
This, however? It put him beyond a level of monster.
It wasn't amorphous, it wasn't something intangible that slipped through their fingers every time they tried to grasp at it.
It was all too real, all too solid, all too right before their faces and impossible to ignore.
Primus Imperium? Primus Luminaria? Dominus Paragon?
Worthless Titles tied to weak Sectors that could probably have been taken by any one of them had they been born in the Milky Way Sector. It was a lie they could easily tell themselves without blinking, thinking themselves superior to Sylas for their station in life... not realizing the difference between being born with something and fighting for it yourself.
This, though... this wasn't something that could be as easily dismissed or ignored.
Maybe some of them had thought it might be possible after what they saw with the Rhino Warlord youth... but they had dismissed the idea for the sheer impossibility of it all.
Now, however, there was no escaping the reality.
A Perfect Spark Master was in their midst.
...
The atmosphere was heavy within the Emperors' sky box. Not a single one spoke.
How many Perfect Spark Masters appeared in their Emperor Sanctum? No... when was the last time one had appeared?
Maybe only once or twice every generation. Every several hundred, even thousand years, less than a handful might appear. And every time, they were touted as a legend amongst legends.
"Now, even if we are wrong, we must report this," the Emperor Lizard said slowly.
He was the first to push back before, now he was the one who spoke first.
There was no doubt. Whatever the consequences would be if they were wrong would be mitigated by the appearance of a Perfect Spark Master.
If they were correct, Sylas would be dealt with.
If they were wrong, Sylas was still a Perfect Spark Master. As for what the Emperor Sanctum would choose to do with him, it would be dependent on what the higher-ups decided.
The value of a Perfect Spark Seed...
The greed in Elbrum's eyes flashed before it vanished.
There were too few organizations with a method of extracting a Perfect Spark Seed, and their Emperor Sanctum wasn't one of them.
Beasts couldn't be Rune Masters, so what happened when a hybrid humanoid-beast pairing appeared? One where she was somehow both an ancient beast and a Spark Master?
It caused Nosphaleen to go from a creature that was purely relying on her ancestry to one that had broken free.
The problem with this? It would be all too easy for her to slip off the path of the Mesmeryx. Some things would be harder to execute and take advantage of.
The solution?
None other than Sylas himself.
The more perfect his understanding of his Contract, the better he could guide her, and so long as his Rune Mastery remained beyond hers, he would certainly be capable of it.
But he had his work cut out for himself. That was because the Spark Mastery Path he had set for Nosphaleen was one with no less potential than his own or his sister's.
What he had been trying to show her was how the simulation was able to form things even as complex as Comprehensions from little more than a series of Runes. It formed the illusion of a Comprehension and built the abilities of an entire being off of them, allowing them to be free-flowing and free-changing.
Now, what would happen if a master of reality like the Mesmeryx built a Rune Mastery Path off of such a thing?
Apparently, the answer to that was that her Foundation would instantly be perfected to such an extent that she would spontaneously improve to the E-tier.
Sylas could hear Nosphaleen's roar within the Hibernation Realm, a roar that would have shaken the world and shattered the E-tier battlefield itself had it occurred out here.
She was ready.
