The history of the universe was vast and long. One could hardly point out a time where an F-tier had garnered the attention of so many. Even a pair of them, battling for so many to see, could never draw so much attention.
Though Sylas and Salivar were extraordinary, to the powers interested in the outcome of such a battle, even their weakest D-tiers could make short work of them. And yet, their attention was drawn nonetheless.
F-tiers shouldn't have this level of strength, and every secret he had long hidden-secrets that Salivar was forced to reveal one after another, facing off against Sylas Grimblade-was only dulled by what Sylas himself pulled out.
A Will more powerful than any F-tier should have, Charisma so great space shuddered, a control and mastery over Runes that they shuddered to consider whether Demi-Gods could match. ππ£πππ°πππ§πΌπππ.π°π¨π¦
Ancestor Zeekr had been very clear in his assessment. Sylas was the very best Rune Master of the F-tier beneath Demi-Godhood. He had simply never seen anyone better.
But from the moment Sylas fused those two Rune Armors together, each one of vastly different auras, Wills, and constructs, he couldn't help but fall into silence for a good lengthy while.
It almost felt like he wasn't observing the battle at all. Instead, he couldn't take his eyes off the armors themselves. Sylas had done it so casually, but... "It shouldn't be possible."
Of course he knew of the Spirit Beasts, of the Emperor Sanctum they ran and how their matters worked. In fact, in their entire Heaven, when it came to Rune Armors, the Emperor Sanctum was probably the particularly best beneath Demi-Godhood.
Their methods were only not so widely distributed because it took their unique Race quirks to take full advantage of them.
But now, this Sylas...
As complicated as the Rune Mastery behind doing such a thing was, how was he handling the clashing Wills?
The Whale wasn't exactly an arrogant spirit, but it would definitely feel itself superior to the Scorpion.
As for the Scorpion, it might be inferior in the eyes of the Emperor Sanctum, but it was known for backstabbing and betraying its own. How had it been culled to not buck and resist?
None of this made any sense at all. And for the first time, Ancestor Zeekr was seeing something done by an F- grade Rune Master that he couldn't quite comprehend on his own.
He... a Legend Rune Master... couldn't see through Sylas.
And yet, who would have thought that this wasn't even Sylas' greatest strength?
It had been so subtle that if Ancestor Zeekr wasn't paying extremely close attention, he would have missed it. But throughout the entire battle, Sylas was at a disadvantage in Speed, in Strength, in Constitution-in pretty much every aspect.
And yet, he made Salivar look like a complete fool.
How was he doing it?
At first, Ancestor Zeekr didn't know. He assumed it was the Comprehension he could vaguely sense, but Salivar was clever enough to see through that and counter it himself.
