Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1731

๏ปฟChapter 1731 Show Me [Bonus]

[Bonus chapter thanks to Bryson_Clark. I hope you name your first born Bryson Jr. and he changes his name on his 18th birthday out of hatred for you] A shuddering amount of golden Aether descended from above. But this time, it didn't spark like it had before; instead, it flooded into Salivar's body as though water through a sieve.

Sylas didn't move immediately, nor did he act rashly.

Was it unfortunate that Salivar wouldn't be as injured as he'd hoped? Sure.

But in the end, he had still gotten what he wanted out of the Quicktime Event and the system. Rather than risking battling a Level 100, he would only have to deal with Salivar.

Now... the question was whether that would be possible.

A one-level difference seemed insignificant, but this one-level difference was an impossibly wide chasm.

The Skills were on another level, the Aether was on another level, the Comprehensions, the Classes, the Genes and Gene Talents... It could be remarked that while fighting as an F-tier, Salivar was restricting a great deal of his prowess. And the fact that he was using two paths that he usually hid told Sylas that they were, in all likelihood, meant to be auxiliary to his main path.

No, auxiliary wasn't the right way to describe it. Salivar would likely not waste two paths. But... Sylas had a feeling that Salivar would only be at his strongest when all three were working in perfect tandem.

And while he hadn't improved the other two to the E-tier just yet, the fact that their main core would be at the E-tier would elevate them by default.

And now...

WHOOSH.

Salivar appeared, perfectly formed. He was entirely naked outside of golden forearm and shin protectors. But very quickly, more and more bark descended from his massive tree, fusing with his skin and forming a radiant golden armor that left room for his hair to dance in the winds.

"I have to admit... the system is quite amusing. It wants to goad me into losing my head, but I acknowledge it... you are strong. And it seems by this message, you came here with the intention of defeating me at my best. So it seems that I've embarrassed myself for no reason."

Salivar spread his hands out far and wide.

"I do not know where you've gotten your confidence from, but maybe it is warranted. I have never personally met an F-tier so powerful, though I have heard of them in passing. It seems that from today, your legend will become a part of them. In which case... "I get to kill a legend."

Salivar's aura shook and the world collapsed around him. Bloody Aether and surging golden lightning mixed into the tides of golden wind.

The bloody crimson Aether was forcefully raised to the E-tier. ๐“ฏ๐™ง๐“ฎ๐“ฎ๐’˜๐“ฎ๐™—๐™ฃ๐’๐’—๐’†๐“ต.๐“ฌ๐“ธ๐’Ž

The golden lightning was forcefully raised to the E-tier.

The floor of the ocean cracked and then split as well, revealing the depth of a void that looked to hold nothing but the abyss and nothingness behind it.

The power shook Sylas' very heart, his orifices rupturing. Blood ran down his nose and ears, flooding even out from his eyes as the more vulnerable vessels behind its sturdy form spilled out.

Sylas appeared above, high on the tides of water that had turned into walls of swirling gold. It looked like a sculpting master had carefully infused their very life into every stroke that formed this beautiful scenery.

And yet every touch sapped away large amounts of Sylas' energy. The moment he ran out of it, he would be left with nothing more than a body of gold, his Will forever trapped within.

Salivar pressed two fingers together.

Chi.

Sylas leapt into the air, barely avoiding an invisible blade light that cut the tops of these frozen tsunamis.

The cut pieces launched themselves into the air, reforming into large blades. No longer invisible, they carried the might and heft of mountains. Each one was dozens of meters long, with blades so thin they could have split a piece of paper down its thinness.

Salivar gripped his hand into a fist, and they erupted with crimson flames, their might feeding off of what Sylas could only note as destruction itself.

And then they fell from the skies, forming an array that locked Sylas into place.

"Show me," Salivar's eyes shone as bright as torches, his voice booming.
