Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1785

Chapter 1785: Two Obvious Reasons

Sylas closed his eyes. Veins bulged along his forehead, but his focus didn't waver in the slightest.

He allowed the floodgates of the Call of the Titan to open wide, and after being held back for so very long, it all rammed into him in a single go.

This would be his last gasp. He knew that after delaying it for so long, Call of the Titan would have already completed its communication with the wider universe, and all the details of Reaper Sealwright would have long been at his fingertips.

Thanks to this, he had more wiggle room in using the crimson lightning, as Call of the Titan had already completed its function for the most part. But he didn't relax, nor did he calm.

Now, everything would be decided in a single moment, a single instant of time.

And then the world fell into silence.

The Omnimous didn't say anything, even as the lights of the ship fluctuated wildly before going out entirely.

All that was left was mostly silence...

And the not-so-subtle cadence of Sylas' breath.

'He survived,' the Omnimous thought to itself. 'But I wonder if he's aware of the reason why...'

Sylas' methods were ingenious, but with this method, there was only a 30% chance of survival. Compared to the original better-than-90% odds he had had, this was a pitiful number-though more than others could ever hope for.

To be an F-tier and yet incorporate the full scope of a Profession of such extreme power in a single go... it could only be said that Sylas was one of one.

Maybe there were other F-tiers capable of such a thing, but they would certainly be born in much more powerful societies, and if so, they would almost certainly receive the help of Gods far more powerful than any help Sylas had access to.

However, even with its limited scope of calculation abilities in its current state, the Omnimous was fairly certain of one thing: Sylas' odds weren't 30%-they had been more like 70%.

His mind... it was far more elastic than any mind it had ever seen.

Well... it didn't have the memories to compare properly. But at least in this Chaos Epoch, he was the best it had

come across.

Even now, Sylas' mind was such a chaotic mess of information that the Omnimous couldn't make out exactly what Sylas himself was thinking. As for Sylas, his mind was already elsewhere.
