Chapter 1847: Outgrow

The Lost City of Gold Points Toward the Sea.

The Mountains of Giza Point Toward the Stars.

It was the start of a puzzle that Sylas had solved long ago. By solving it, he had been able to use Nosphaleen as a proxy to manipulate the currents of Earth's oceans, ultimately allowing him to make it to the bottom of the ocean, where he was ultimately granted the Great Ape Lineage.

This was something that hadn't happened all that long ago, all things considered. But it felt like a lifetime ago by this point. How long ago had it been since he stood in that observatory and realigned the currents of Earth?

But there was an obvious elephant in the room, one that existed by virtue of the fact such a puzzle existed in the first place.

Sylas and the Rat vanished.

BANG.

Patriarch Kaelthar's fist clenched over his throne's armrest, shattering it to pieces. There was a bad feeling welling up in his chest right now that he couldn't describe.

Those notifications of Earth's ascent had come with a complete blackout. He had tried several times now to see beyond that current, but it was like Sylas' methods of blocking their sight were even more potent than what one would expect from a Demi-God Realm. It made no sense at all.

Not only did no one hear the Rat's words, they didn't see the duo vanish either. The last thing in their minds was the absolute savage beating of an Angel on the universal scale.

Fury was the only emotion Saeng had, but he didn't know how to direct it just yet...

Because the weight of a Progenitor was far too great. So great he didn't even have a proper concept of what it meant to be a Galaxy Progenitor. He had never even heard of such a thing being possible.

Maybe his wife would know, but she was incapacitated. There was no easy way to learn unless he demanded the others...

But they might not have an answer either.

What Saeng did know was that attacking a world from a lesser territory was already extremely difficult. It required many resources to obscure the eyes of the system properly, and even more risks on top of that.

But doing all of that while a Progenitor was also protecting this world?

It was a fool's errand. At least it would be if he did it personally.

The problem was that that moment had been projected everywhere. And considering what was happening was obstructed afterward, it meant that Sylas had done it on purpose.

Sylas knew that the reveal that he was Earth's Progenitor would change their calculations. The fact he was the Milky Way's Progenitor on top of that... Now that was something that couldn't be ignored no matter how much Saeng tried.
