Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1861

Chapter 1861: Accept

When Sylas stepped onto the Scorpion Lineage's moon for the first time in a bit, he didn't expect to find that Khan and Gwenu had both returned.

On the surface, it looked like the two were the exact same as they had always been, not having the slightest change or shift about them. But the more Sylas looked, the further he spotted to go. Every step further was like another depth to find, another cliff to leap from.

Sylas was very much surprised.

It wasn't just that Gwenu had entered the D-tier. Khan was still in the D-tier himself and hadn't yet managed to finish building his Foundation, but there was an unfathomable gap between who he used to be and who he was

now.

It wasn't like Sylas thought himself to be the only one that could improve his Foundation, but it was supposed to be much harder the further from Level O you got-let alone when you had left the F-tier entirely.

The other problem was that... Gwenu and Khan weren't on his level of talent at all. They didn't have the same resources or chances—at least he thought.

Why did they swiftly have so much depth?

The obvious answer was that it was related to the very same place that Gralith had been trapped, the very place Sylas had participated in the gathering in order to help free him from.

But that felt like only a part of the picture. Sylas was fairly sure he had a good grasp of what Gralith had done and where he had gone.

According to his understanding, Gralith was attempting to communicate with and take advantage of the Spirit Beasts that had been taken from him-namely the ones that had once been at the core of the Scorpion Lineage for the 007 and former 001 Sanctums.

In doing so, he had ended up trapped.

But from what Sylas understood, this should have only helped Khan and Gwenu to improve their understanding of the Scorpion and refine their current Tier Armor into a better state.

It shouldn't have allowed them to work backwards to undo and redo their foundation.

'Unless...'

Sylas' gaze flickered several times.

His understanding of the F-tier body was as perfect as it could be after he reached Infinite Void Rune Mastery. He was at a near untouchable level.

Technically speaking, the Gene formed and absorbed by the Scorpion Warlord Armor could only be used once. And after it was absorbed into the Foundation, it wouldn't be accessible again. However... *'The reason there's a separation between Warlord and Emperor between the Warlord Sanctums and the Emperor Sanctum is that the branches are, by design, meant to be the soldiers of the Emperors. There's a subordinate-to-leader relationship between the two.

'Gralith became a Warlord after being banished by his Lineage, but he still has the Emperor Bloodline within him. Theoretically, if you used the command and control aspects of the Emperor Scorpion to influence change in a Warlord Scorpion...'* Sylas' thoughts drifted, one thought after another forming in quick succession as he deduced.

There were a countless number of paths to take in the universe. Who was to say that his way was the only way?

Fanelei's Madness Spirit had told Sylas several times that making it to Godhood was impossible to do in one lifetime. Even Demi-Godhood was impossible.

In order to reach these levels, you needed generations of help and support throughout the ages. Only after many seasons, many offspring, many life and death cycles, and hopefully several geniuses along the way, could a Clan finally rise up to those levels.

But every one of those conversations that Sylas had ever had had neglected one thing... not because Fanelei didn't know, but because it basically never happened... What if someone brought you along?
