'The gap is so large…'

This was just a mass-produced Gene Crystal for a Unique Silver Gene formed by at best 300 or so Silver Genes. From Sylas' understanding, on a scale of Silver Gene Crystals, this was actually on the lower end of the spectrum.

For context, Sylas' maxed-out, 200 Capacity Bronze Crystal had only given him +80 or so in each stat point. This was 40 times that.

The most straightforward way to accomplish this was by lighting the Progenitor Flame. However, making it to the center of a world when there wasn't a convenient Dungeon or bridge formed like there had been on Earth was a nightmare.

The ease with which Sylas made it to Earth's Core was ironically thanks to all of those scheming against him and his world. If not for their machinations and the linkage of two Dungeons across opposite sides of the world, making it there would have been impossible without extraordinary means.

The second method was far vaguer… and that was to gain acknowledgement of the world. If Ulrik had the Aether Treasure Lorien stole, he would have confidence in succeeding within just a month.

Given Lorien's lack of familiarity with the treasure, he believed it would probably take her around double or triple that time. But either way, he was certainly on a time crunch right now.

If he wanted to surpass her and claim the acknowledgement of this world, ironically enough defeating Sylas just might be a massive shortcut.

However, what the others were mistaken about was the method in which you would do this.

What a world needed wasn't a badass, one-man army. Worlds were intelligent, they knew such a thing had diminishing returns. Believing in one person's talent could only lead you so far.

Of course, when someone tilted the balance so much, a world would have no choice but to acknowledge it. This was especially so for a world that had been as desperate as Earth. It could be said that this was why he was given a chance to become a Progenitor so easily…

But this was also why the Progenitor Quest Earth decided for Sylas was against the geniuses of other worlds as well. The difficulty was increased precisely because Sylas was usually the last sort of Progenitor a world would choose.

Prove himself here, and Earth would accept its fate.

Ulrik, though, wasn't aiming to please a world. At least not yet. freёwebnoѵel.com

While Sylas was fighting for his Progenitor position, the rest of them were fighting for something else: the right to elevate a world to Silver Grade.

Why would a Thryskai like him even need such a thing? The number of Silver Worlds they controlled in the Skai Galaxy alone were in the dozens.

The truth was that giving a world such a boost would be an easy way to gain a Progenitor Quest of their own.

This reflected the true difficulty of becoming a Progenitor. Elevating a Bronze World to a Silver one might get you a Progenitor Quest.

However… Ulrik had no thoughts of failure. He would succeed. His branch of the Thryskai had been suppressed for too long. If they birthed a Progenitor, everything would change.

And he would be that man…

What could two ants of inferior Races do to him? He would show them that in the world of Genes, foundation was everything.

Ulrik's city rumbled and began to rise into the skies.
