Caroline had mixed feelings about this new feature.

On one hand, she loved that the Natural Wildlands could grow wild produce all on its own- no need to plant or manage anything. Super convenient.
But on the other hand, the restrictions were annoying. It could not produce by–products yet, and everything had to be harvested manually. That part was a pain.
Just as she was thinking that, Jasper–who had just gulped down a chunk of salmon–waddled over. Seeing her frown, he slyly licked his little paws and said, with his big eyes gleaming mischievously, “Master, worried about gathering wild herbs? Jasper’s got it covered.”
He wagged his tail proudly. “6 miles of harvesting for just one fish! Fair deal, no scams!”
Caroline glanced at her newly–built pond, still home to baby fish, and could not help but feel a sudden wave of sympathy for them. Looked like the fish were going to have a rough time from
now on …
She scrolled through the rest of the options.
Mobile Base.
Level: 1 …
JunkEater.
Level: 2 …
Happy Farm.
Level: 3 …
Loving Ranch.
Level: 3 …
None of them had updated. So those two new features–the fish pond and the wildlands— must’ve been the reward from the double upgrade.
Suddenly, Caroline remembered the things she had planted in Farm One before upgrading, along with what she had tossed into the JunkEater. Excited, she ran over to check.

But what she found left her disappointed–Farm One was completely empty.
She circled around twice, but there was nothing there.
“Jasper, where are the things I planted in Farm One?”

She crouched down, digging through the soil, but could not find the bottle of mutant python venom or the scales she had buried earlier.
Nothing.
“Um… I think … something might’ve grown out,” Jasper said, his eyes darting around nervously, his paw–licking suddenly frozen midair.
“Might’ve‘?”
Caroline caught onto the keyword immediately.
“When the space was upgraded, I got too excited and ran off to check out the pond. But while passing by Farm One, I think I saw something bulging out of the ground and kind of floating? I didn’t look closely, though… ”
Seeing Caroline’s face darken, Jasper’s eyes flicked back and forth, then he bolted.
Right before his figure disappeared, she heard his faint voice echoing in the air, “Ah, sorry, Master!”
Caroline rolled her eyes. “That mischievous furball … ”
She remembered that sometimes, when the farm produced new things, they had a tendency to “escape.”
Like that blueberry–stuffed rabbit or that rooster that laid bullets …
So maybe this time, it produced something alive again?
She did recall wishing for a powerful mutant plant before the upgrade.
As she looked around the space, she suddenly noticed something different.
Wait, was that tall willow tree always next to the mobile base?
Thinking back to Jasper’s words about something “floating,” Caroline’s lips curled up.
Ah, so that’s what he meant.

She focused her thoughts, trying to move the willow closer to Farm One so it could stay with the other mutant plants.
But when she tried, the willow twisted in protest, as if it did not want to be moved.
That was when she realized that this was no ordinary tree.
Its trunk shimmered faintly with golden hues, like the scales of a golden python.
The underside of its leaves was purple, just like the python’s venom.
And along its branches flowed streaks of blue crystal light–spiritual energy from the spring itself.
“Ah! So this is what it became!”
Jasper suddenly popped out from who–knows–where, tail flicking proudly.
By now, Caroline had already planted the mutant willow into the ground.
She knew that some high–level mutant plants could move on their own, just like that mutant pine she had once collected.
And this willow–she could feel–was even stronger than that one.
After she finished planting, Jasper circled the willow a few times, then bounced to her side, eyes sparkling. “Master, Master! I know what this willow can do!”
His expression clearly said: Come on, ask me, ask me!
Caroline chuckled and patted his head. “Go ahead.”
“You can move this willow outside the space, and it can fight alongside you! A real ‘Whomping Willow,‘ like in those old fantasy movies! So, Master, who do you think’s stronger–them or ours?”
Hearing that, Caroline looked up at the shimmering golden willow and could not help but grin. A battle–ready willow tree from the space itself? Nice. As expected, everything from this space was top–tier.
