Goodbye Saintess (by Edelweiss W.S.) novel Chapter 200

**TITLE: The Unseen Kingdom That Followed Me Into Every Dream by Alyndra Meron Valeen**
**Chapter 200**

“We rushed over here, and in the flurry of it all, I completely neglected to bring a gift for your grandmother. It slipped my mind amidst the chaos,” I explained, my tone laced with a hint of regret. “But I’ve been reminded that it’s crucial for me to come up with something heartfelt and personal.”

“But more importantly,” I declared, my voice rising with conviction, “this is a statement. From this moment forward, anyone who dares to think they can intimidate you will have to reconsider!” I concluded, my determination echoing in the air.

Claire stood frozen, her eyes wide, filled with a mixture of disbelief and admiration.

“You’re doing this… for me?” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

As I watched her, I noticed the shimmer of unshed tears pooling in her eyes, a sight that tugged at my heart. It had been ages since she had felt that warm embrace of genuine protection.

And yet, through it all, Sebastian had somehow managed to wrap her in a cocoon of love and safety.

“Thank you,” she breathed, her eyes glistening with emotion, betraying the depth of her gratitude.

Then, in a hushed tone, she added, “I’ll pay you back once we’re home. You can count on that!”

A smile crept across my face, tinged with amusement. “Oh, come on now! I can certainly afford a gift or two, can’t I?”

It was a delightful surprise to witness someone, raised in such luxury, embody both generosity and thoughtfulness.

If only Hera had possessed even a fraction of Claire’s spirit, perhaps we would never have approached the precipice of divorce.

“Alright,” she replied softly, a gentle nod accompanying her words. The look she gave me was one of a wife who took pride in her husband’s gestures.

I swiftly dialed Jeanine’s number, my heart racing with anticipation. She picked up without delay. “Mr. Grimwald! Is there anything I can assist you with today?”

To her surprise, Lawrence’s interest was piqued. “Oho! Would you like me to join you in this endeavor, Ms. Baxter? I would relish the opportunity to prepare a gift myself! Honestly, I’ve been eager to meet your intriguing employer for quite some time. I’ve never encountered a CEO so young and astonishingly capable. The project he spearheaded is, without a doubt, the finest I’ve witnessed throughout my entire career!”

“I know the ‘giant’ in ‘Sleeping Giant’ must refer to this brilliant mind. It simply has to be! I would do anything to forge a friendship with such a hidden prodigy!”

Jeanine stood there, utterly bewildered. She had no inkling that Sebastian’s charisma could be so potent, drawing even this seasoned CEO to express a desire to share the same space with him.

Naturally, she had no reason to decline his offer. “It would be our pleasure, Mr. Blanc.”

“Fantastic! I’ll start crafting my gift right away!” he exclaimed, enthusiasm radiating from him as he hurried off.

Jeanine paused, her thoughts swirling, yet she still couldn’t conjure any feasible ideas. The company simply could not spare enough funds to fulfill Sebastian’s request at this moment.

After a moment of hesitation, she finally decided to reach out to Baron.
