The Unseen Kingdom That Followed Me Into Every Dream by Alyndra Meron Valeen 47 Summary Morgan noticed my angry expression and hesitantly asked if he could help, but I ignored him and demanded to know if Hera was present. Upon confirmation, I proceeded directly to her office, recalling its location despite not visiting often. I forcefully entered, startling Hera, who immediately questioned my manners. I retorted sharply, accusing her of standing me up.
Hera feigned surprise at the day of the week, claiming she had been overwhelmed with meetings and suggesting we postpone our discussion until tomorrow. I mocked her excuse, pointing out that she had all day to prepare a better one and criticizing her lack of dignity, especially since she had sent a text about not consenting. Hera’s expression darkened as I confronted her bluntly. When I asked if she was serious about the divorce, Hera seemed shocked but then admitted she had not signed the papers and was deliberately avoiding the divorce.
I challenged her motives, questioning what she hoped to gain by holding onto me and how my presence could possibly help her first love. Hera responded defiantly, saying she wouldn’t divorce me because I would never be with that other woman. The confrontation escalated as Hera accused me of having a mistress and called me a cheating bastard, her emotions spilling over as she stood up, eyes red and near tears. She then angrily accused me of defending the woman she saw as a homewrecker, intensifying the bitter conflict between us.
