163: HOPE
Hope’s POV
“Good, right?” Levi asked confidently.

I pursed my lips. I couldn’t even deny it. Having sex with him always felt good, but the thrill of doing it somewhere we could actually get caught had sent a rush through me.
My heart still hadn’t settled from it, and I hated to admit that a tiny part of me had enjoyed the excitement just as much.
I wouldn’t admit it to him, though. Not in a million years.
He leaned closer and whispered into my ear, his warm breath brushing against my skin.
“You were really hot riding me, babe. You should do it more often. The way your tits bounced-”
I shoved him away before he could finish, making him laugh even harder. Meanwhile, my own heart was pounding wildly against my ribs, and my cheeks burned so hot from embarrassment that I was certain they had turned bright red.
“Good thing we weren’t caught,” I said, leaning back with a relieved sigh.
However, I didn’t realize I had leaned right against the car horn, causing a loud, drawn-out beep to echo throughout the entire parking lot.
I jumped in surprise.
But it turned out I wasn’t the only one startled.
A string of curses rang out from outside the car.
I quickly turned toward the windshield and saw a young man-probably around Harley’s and Zayla’s age-glaring straight at us. His white shirt was stained with fresh coffee, making it obvious that he had dropped his cup when the horn blasted through the parking lot.
“Crap,” I muttered under my breath.
We had been so close to getting away with it!
“Please don’t come here. Please don’t come here,” I whispered repeatedly.
However, he was already marching toward us.
A second later, he began knocking on the window.
“Hey, open up! I just bought that coffee! I was only taking a sip when you surprised me!”
I slowly turned toward Levi.
To my disbelief, he looked too amused by the situation.
“Don’t open it,” I muttered.
“I’ll take off your side mirror if you don’t open up. You better pay for my coffee, or I’ll make a scene!”
I noticed the mischievous glint in Levi’s eyes as he reached for the window controls.
“No,” I whisper-shouted before burying my face against his chest.

Fortunately, he only rolled the window down a little-just enough for his face to be seen.
“Fucker, you made me drop my coffee-”
The young man suddenly froze.
His eyes widened.
“Holy shit! Levi Reeve?” he blurted. “Is that really you?”
“Sorry about that, man. It was an accident,” Levi said apologetically.
He reached into the compartment beside him and pulled out a few bills.
“I’ll pay you for the coffee and the shirt.”
Once the guy accepted the money, still looking slightly dazed, I whispered urgently to Levi,
“Let’s go, please.”
“Can I also have your autograph?”
Levi smirked before turning back toward him.
“Sure.”
I shot Levi a glare. He was definitely enjoying this.
I buried myself even deeper against his chest, desperately trying not to be recognized.
Just then, Levi lowered the window even more.

I had no choice but to crouch lower and lower until I was curled up against him, my face close to his crotch. A quiet groan escaped his lips.
“You okay there?” the young man asked.
“Yeah,” Levi answered with a smirk, glancing down at me. “Just have a little feisty kitten over here.”
“You have a kitten?” he asked excitedly. “Can I see?”
He started leaning closer.
Levi chuckled.
“Sorry, bud. Only mine to see.”
“Anyway, where will I sign?”
“You can just sign my shirt,” the young man said eagerly.
Levi shrugged before scribbling his signature across the front of it.
“There you go. Do you need anything else?”
“Nothing else,” he said, beaming. “Just do well in the game. I’ll be rooting for the Glaciers.”
“Of course.” Levi smiled. “See you there.”

The young man looked so genuinely excited that I simply let them continue talking.
Still… He really had a lot to say, huh?
1-
Were all boys around Harley’s age talkative like this?
“You’re not as bad as they make you out to be,” he suddenly said.
Both Levi and I paused before exchanging a quick glance.
“What do you mean by that?” Levi asked, tilting his head.

“Well, a lot of articles paint you as this talented guy who hates being touched, has a nasty personality, hates the media, and doesn’t care about his fans…”
I had to bite my lip to stop myself from laughing.
Levi actually was all of those things back then.
“Sorry.” The young man awkwardly flashed a peace sign. “But you’re great. You’re way kinder than most celebrities I’ve med”
“You don’t have to apologize,” Levi replied with an easy smile. “I really was like that before. I won’t deny it.”
“Then… what changed?”
“Someone special came into my life.”
Levi smiled so softly that my heart skipped a beat. Even after everything we’d been through, that smile still had the power to completely undo me.
“Oh, your girlfriend, right?” the young man said. “Man, your girlfriend is really pretty. All my friends like her-”
“Well, I have to go,” Levi interrupted quickly. “Bye, kid.”
With that, he rolled the window back up.
I slowly looked at him with one brow raised.
“Well, that was an abrupt end to the conversation.”
He wrapped an arm around my waist and gently pulled me back up until we were face to face again.
