Samuel panicked. "What the hell are you gambling for?! There's no way you can win!"

"It's safer to just call Grant down here. Hurry up and do it!"

Sienna ignored him completely, walking straight over and sitting down at the gambling table.

"I like your style!"

The amusement in Laird's eyes deepened. He snapped his fingers, and the dealer immediately cleared the table of chips, setting down a fresh dice cup.

The casino patrons began drifting over in twos and threes. Some leaned against the pillars with cigarettes dangling from their lips to watch the show, while others whispered among themselves over their drinks.

The dealer shook the dice for the first round, slamming the cup down onto the felt.

"Place your bets."

Sienna reached out and pushed her chips toward "Low."

The cup was lifted: three dice, showing six, five, and four.

Fifteen points. High.

She lost.

Laird leaned back against the sofa, crossing his legs, looking utterly relaxed.

Round two, the base bet skyrocketed to a million dollars.

Sienna pushed her chips to "High."

The cup opened to reveal low. She lost again.

Round three escalated to ten million dollars, and she lost yet again. Three consecutive losses.

Standing behind her, Samuel was turning green with anxiety. He furiously kicked a stool over.

"I told you you couldn't do it, but you just had to show off! Paying with your life? Bullshit!"

"Don't you know your life isn't worth a dime? If you want to die, do it on your own time!"

Fiona was bawling her eyes out. "It's over... It's all over..."

Simon sneered. "You cheap bitch, are you trying to drag our entire family down with you?!"

Laird took a slow drag from his cigar, his tone laced with amusement.

"Ms. Sawyer, that's three rounds. Even if I sold your organs, it wouldn't cover the next bet."

"Just surrender. I'll let you keep a little dignity."

Sienna didn't move an inch.

She rested her hand gracefully against the table, her knuckles prominent from her thin frame, making her look incredibly fragile.

The exact moment the cup slammed down, Sienna shoved her chips forward without the slightest hesitation.

"High!"

When the cup was lifted, the dice revealed a high score.

A massive wave of murmurs swept through the casino, but unlike the first five rounds, nobody was laughing. Most of their expressions were unreadable—disbelief warring with undeniable reality.

Fiona was the first to react, shrieking at the top of her lungs, "We won! We won!"

Samuel stared at the dice in absolute shock.

Laird's face, however, turned as black as thunder.

"You've got good luck, Ms. Sawyer."

Sienna had no intention of engaging in small talk, demanding bluntly, "You can let them go now, right?"

"You won, sure." His eyes darted around shiftily before settling into a sinister smirk. "But you see..."

He raised a hand, and several massive bruisers instantly surrounded them, completely cutting off Sienna's escape routes.

"That's a lot of cash, and I don't have it on me right now." Laird tilted his head mockingly. "Why don't you stay here for a couple of days while I get the funds together, and then I'll see you out?"

Upon hearing this, Samuel didn't skip a beat. "Keep her! Let us go!"
