Lyla didn't give Sienna a single second to react. She intimately hooked her arm through Sienna's, half-dragging and half-pushing her as she shoved the heavy mahogany door wide open.
"Grant, Mr. Lowery, we aren't interrupting your business talk, are we?" Lyla blinked her large, innocent eyes.
Lucas's gaze immediately landed on Sienna, his expression incredibly complex.
Grant's eyes also locked dead onto Sienna. His immediate realization was: I haven't seen her in days, and she's lost even more weight.
Sienna was wearing a loose beige trench coat, making her figure look overwhelmingly frail. Her bare face held absolutely no emotion—no anger, no grief, and not even the slightest desire to demand an explanation.
The vile things he had just spewed were merely intended to provoke Lucas into handing her over, and he had no idea how long Sienna had been standing there.
He wanted to ask how much she had heard, but the moment the words reached his tongue, they twisted into his habitual mockery.
"What? Finally decided to show your face?"
Sienna's gaze swept right past Grant without lingering for even half a second.
She turned directly to Lucas, her voice calm. "I came here to confirm the details for the 'New Voice' competition with you. Also, I've finished a few new pieces recently and wanted you to take a look at them."
Grant's face instantly went black.
Her reaction made him feel as though he didn't even exist.
That feeling of absolute, utter disregard lit a suffocating fire in Grant's chest, burning so hot his temples throbbed violently.
"What?!" Lyla's voice suddenly spiked, dripping with perfectly calculated surprise and delight. "Sienna, are you joining the 'New Voice' competition too?"
Then, her tone shifted into something sickeningly soft and sweet. "That is such a coincidence! I was thinking about challenging myself recently, so I tentatively mentioned it to Grant, and I never expected him to be so supportive."
"He didn't just register me; he specifically hired an elite, professional production team to personally mentor me."
At that point, Lyla leaned in a little closer to Sienna, her tone dripping with fake sincerity and mock concern.
Why? Sienna was just a worthless, pathetic nobody! Why on earth was she receiving such unreserved favoritism from Lucas Lowery?!
This was the almighty head of Lowery & Co.—the man countless socialites and heiresses begged just to catch a glimpse of—yet here he was, lowering his elite status to prop up a useless piece of trash!
What kind of spell did she cast on Lucas to make him interested in someone like her?!
She was the one who deserved to be treated like a queen! Both Grant and Lucas were supposed to belong to her.
Lyla let out a cold scoff in her mind.
If she could wrap Grant around her finger, she could do the exact same with Lucas.
Sienna, you just wait.
He will belong to me soon enough.
