The line began moving ahead smoothly and in order.

With a huge grin, he pointed to the people behind him–his wife, his son, and daughter–in–law, plus his daughter and son–in–law. In a loud, cheerful voice, he said, “Ms. Schofield, take a look at us. There are six of us here! By your rules, that means we can buy 600 strawberries, 600 potatoes, and 600 sweet potatoes, right?”

He looked pretty pleased with himself, like he’d just made the best deal ever.

Elizabeth found him to be funny and laughed. She nodded readily. “That’s right, Mr. Lichtden. Each person can buy up to 100 at the base price. Since there are six of you, 600 makes perfect sense. Bringing your whole family here to line up is impressive.”

While talking, she and Fiona worked side by side, quickly counting potatoes, sweet potatoes, and strawberries. One fresh, round piece after another was packed into specially made eco–friendly bags.

As she worked, Elizabeth kept chatting. “Mr. Lichtden, since you’re buying so much, remember to store it properly. My produce lasts a long time, but it won’t taste as fresh after too many days.”

Next to him, Gianna quickly replied with a cheerful smile, “It’ll be fine! Don’t worry, Ms. Schofield. We’re not keeping all this for ourselves. It’s for our grandson to bring to the army! Those young men eat a lot. They train every day and burn energy fast. This amount? They’ll finish it in no time!”

Wallace’s capable–looking daughter, Callie Lichtden, helped pack while eagerly asking, “Tycoon Boss, when will you come back to set up again? Give us a real date so we can prepare early.”

Hearing that, Elizabeth made a thinking face, then teased, “That depends on you all. Once you’ve eaten through your stock and need more, I’ll probably show up again.”

Callie instantly made a helpless face. “Then come tomorrow! Don’t be fooled by how much we bought. Once my nephew leaves, there probably won’t be anything left for us. Then we’ll have to go back to living on liquid supplements.”

Her words quickly got the people behind them nodding in agreement.

“Exactly! Tycoon Boss, why not come every day? Then we can finally eat as much as we want.”

“We promise we’ll buy from you daily!”

“Having to limit ourselves is torture. I just want to eat this at every meal!”

With all the laughter and chatter around, the purchase was soon finished. Wallace’s family happily stored several big bags of their “spoils” into a storage button and left, fully satisfied.

The line kept moving quickly. Around the halfway point, it was finally the turn of those very noticeable men in black suits.

Jeremy stepped forward, still standing perfectly straight, and greeted her with a polite smile. “Good day, Ms. Schofield

When Elizabeth saw him, she laughed, sounding friendly. “Jeremy, why are you lining up? Didn’t i tell you? I already prepared Mrs. Zaylee’s share. You could’ve just come and picked it up.”

Since there were so many people watching, she carefully avoided mentioning the commander.

As she spoke, she took out a finely crafted storage button and handed it to him. Inside was the portion she had already set aside for Zaylee.

Jeremy accepted it with both hands, but he didn’t leave right away. Instead, he answered seriously, “That wouldn’t be right, Ms. Schofield. Mrs. Zaylee gave clear instructions that we must not receive special treatment. We have to follow your rules, stand in line, and pay the proper price.”

While speaking, he quietly used his mental power to check what was inside the storage button.

When he sensed 1,000 potatoes, 1,000 sweet potatoes, and 1,000 strawberries neatly stored inside and saw that the numbers matched Zaylee’s request perfectly, even his usually serious face showed a faint smile.

Just as expected from the new lady of the Hewitts. Elizabeth handled matters carefully and accurately. She and Zaylee had thought of the same thing, even down to the exact numbers.

After putting away the storage button, Jeremy got ready to pay.
