Chapter 333 It’s Really Him

There was only one simple rulework. In return, they might earn approval and maybe rewards.

Using the skills they were forced to learn, they had gained a certain amount of respect. They could even help others.

That brandnew sense of valuewas dangerously tempting for spoiled rich kids who grew up with both rejection and overindulgence.

Of course, none of them said it aloud.

They were afraid people would laugh at them.

But their view of the farm had already shifted.

It wasn’t just a place they entered to make up for their mistakes anymore. Somehow, it began to feel like a place where they could hold onto a small, strange bit of hope.

The Third Military’s family group arrived, touching down in several quiet but topclass private spaceships.

Orion walked near the back of the line. At his side was Humus, whose hair had turned gray but whose posture stayed perfectly straight.

Orion wore plain dark casual clothes. His face stayed calm and unreadable as his eyes moved over the slightly rough land and the faint green area far ahead.

Most of the others were relatives, distant family members, or branch heirs of highranking officers and powerful figures from the Third Military. All of them dressed carefully, their expressions mixing curiosity, control, and a faint sense of pride that was hard to hide.

They spoke quietly among themselves. Their talk kept circling back to the farm they were about to visit and the mysterious owner, their voices holding both curiosity and a casual disregard for the socalled rules.

Orion stayed silent among them, looking somewhat out of place.

They took the prepared hover cars and headed toward the farm entrance.

As expected, there was already a long line waiting.

All sorts of people stood there, including some familiar faces from other military families.

The invisible barrier and the stonefaced guard, Desmond, became the first test everyone had

to pass.

When it was the Third Military group’s turn, a small wave of tension passed through them.

Someone was stopped because of past inappropriate comments. His face turned red, then pale, as he argued with Desmond and even tried to rely on his family nameonly to be rejected with the same cold response.

Orion waited quietly.

When his turn came, he stepped forward and gave his name.

The holographic screen in Desmond’s hand flashed while checking the data, then he nodded. Sir, your reservation is confirmed.”

Orion gave a small nod and motioned for Humus to follow him. Behind them, a few people from their group who were denied entry muttered in frustration, watching as Orion calmly moved ahead.

He then headed toward the nearby market area.

Fresh air brushed against his face, carrying the smell of soil and fresh produce. In the distance were wide rows and greenhouses. Nearby, the selling area buzzed with people, yet everything remained wellcontrolled.

The man stood with his back to Orion. He wore the farm’s standard darkblue work clothes, stood upright, moved smoothly, and helped an elderly couple lift heavy boxes of produce onto a hovering cart.

Just seeing his back made Orion’s chest tighten, forcing him to stop walking.

Humus noticed and asked softly, Mr. Orion?

Orion didn’t reply. He kept staring that way.

Then the man turned around, showing a sharp face marked by hardship, but with bright, steady eyes.

It was Melton.

It’s really him!

Orion’s breath caught.
