Its eyes met hers.

Elizabeth didn’t say a word.

Instead, she slowly released a tiny thread of gentle spiritual power from her open palm. It flowed forward like a silent stream, carefully brushing against the edge of the goldenbrown male’s wild emotions.

That spiritual power had no shape, no color, and no physical form that any machine could detect.

But it was real.

It spread from Elizabeth’s fingertips like a soft, invisible bubble, slowly wrapping around the male Cuckoo Chicken that was on the edge of losing control.

The Cluckoo Chicken’s body shook hard, as if something had gently caught and supported it.

Its fluffedup feathers slowly settled.

The heavy rise and fall of its chest became calmer with each breath.

The threatening growl in its throat grew quieter and softer until it became the familiar, gentle rumble Elizabeth knew so well, carrying even a hint of hurt.

It took two steps toward her, stumbling a little, then pressed its head into her palm and closed its eyes.

Like a child who had finally been caught before falling.

Elizabeth felt the warm blood seeping from the wound on its forehead against her hand. Her brow tightened slightly.

It wasn’t because the blood had stained her hand, but because its blood was much hotter than it should have been, and its heartbeat was badly out of rhythm.

She sent her spiritual power through her palm into its body, quickly checking its system. She found the source of the problem almost at once.

There was a foreign substance in its blood and nerve tissue that shouldn’t have been there. It was violently overstimulating its central nervous system and triggering an extreme stress response.

This wasn’t a natural rampage.

Someone had caused it.

Elizabeth’s eyes turned cold.

She didn’t rush to find the person who had poisoned it.

Instead, she spread her spiritual power out from her palm. It expanded like an invisible net, covering every frightened and agitated Cluckoo Chicken in the pen.

The gentle spiritual power worked like a calming medicine, soothing their tense nerves one after another..

At the same time, it slowly broke down, neutralized, and cleared away the toxins caused by the strange stimulant.

For the ones in worse shape, she gathered her spiritual power into thin streams and sent it through the blood vessels in their necks with perfect accuracy.

On a microscopic level, she broke the stimulant’s molecular chains apart piece by piece until they became harmless amino acids. Then she guided their bodies to remove the brokendown material through their metabolic systems.

The whole process took an enormous amount of mental power and control. Even the smallest mistake could cause permanent damage.

Elizabeth stood in the middle of the pen the entire time, her hand never changing position. About fifteen minutes later, the last Cluckoo Chicken’s breathing finally became steady. It folded its feathers back down and quietly lay on the ground.

The riot was finally over.
