Chapter 606 Undercover
Gregory leaned back in his chair and stared at the ceiling.
The scenes from the video kept replaying over and over in his mind.

Reuben being torn apart, his remains dragged away, and the look in the eyes of that massive dark purple insect when it lifted its head.
The Swarmborn didn’t lie.
He knew that very well.
They didn’t have the brains for it, nor did they have any reason to.
So if they said they had sent three thousand Swarmborn, then they really had sent three thousand Swarmborn.
But there had been no signs of battle on Planet A001. The farm had continued operating as usual, and tourists had kept coming and going without interruption.
So where had those Swarmborn gone?
“What if…” Weston asked cautiously. “That farm has some kind of secret method we don’t know about?”
Gregory glanced at him. “What kind of secret method could swallow three thousand Swarmborn without making a sound or leaving a single trace?”
Weston had no answer.
The communications room fell silent once again.
Gregory stood up and walked over to the window, staring out at the dull gray sky.
His fingers unconsciously began tapping against the window frame again.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
It sounded like a silent countdown.
“Send people over,” he finally said.
Weston looked up. “To Planet A001?”

“That’s right. Go to Planet A001. Go to that farm and see it with your own eyes. Gregory turned to face him. “Send a few people who won’t attract any attention. Have them pose as tourists. Don’t reveal who they are, and don’t start any trouble. They have only one mission, observe. Find out what that farm is really doing and where those Swarmborn disappeared to.”
He paused. “You have three days to prepare.”
Weston nodded. “Understood.”
Three days later, a five-person team boarded a direct spaceship bound for Tycoon Farm on Planet A001.
All five of them wore ordinary casual clothes, looking exactly like a group of tourists heading to the farm for a day of fruit picking.
The leader was a middle-aged man named Cyrus Bramble. His eyes were calm, and he was a man of few words.
The other four were younger. They wore baseball caps, sunglasses hanging from their collars, and chewed gum as they walked, looking just like vacationers.
They looked so ordinary that no one spared them a second glance.
Several hours later, they arrived at Planet A001 without any trouble.
As the spaceship landed, Cyrus looked through the window at the spaceport outside.
It was nothing like he had expected.
The spaceport was small, but spotless.
Several civilian spaceships were parked nearby. Tourists were boarding and disembarking while staff members directed traffic and maintained order.
There were no signs of battle, no defensive fortifications, and nothing unusual at all.
Everything looked completely normal.
He took a deep breath and stood up.
“Let’s go. Remember our mission. Watch only. Don’t ask questions, don’t touch anything, and don’t cause trouble.”
The other four nodded and followed him down the boarding ramp.

The paved surface of the spaceport had been heated by the sun, and the air carried the scent of soil and growing plants.
In the distance, they could hear tourists laughing, children running around and playing, and the occasional farm announcement reminding visitors about the routes to the picking areas and the safety guidelines.
A colorful balloon slipped free from a child’s hand and floated lazily into the sky.
Cyrus narrowed his eyes as he watched it drift higher and higher until it became nothing more than a tiny speck of color.
He suddenly felt that this place was far more… normal than he had imagined.
So normal that it made him uneasy.
Cyrus had served in the military for nearly 20 years.
He had encountered every kind of Swarmborn disguise imaginable.
Swarmborn disguised as merchants, as couples, and as mothers and children. If it hadn’t been a hundred cases, it had certainly been eighty.
Few people understood the appearance and behavior of the Swarmborn better than he did.
Every single time, he had been able to identify them immediately.
But now, as he walked through the farm’s orchards and vegetable fields, he felt like a complete fool.
