The size, shape, color, and even the faint, unique fragrance were exactly the same!

At that moment, she finally let out a long breath of relief. The tension that had been tightening her nerves for days suddenly loosened, leaving her almost drained.
Just then, a faint, hoarse voice, so weak it was almost impossible to recognize, reached her ears in broken fragments.
“E–Erin…”
Erin’s entire body jolted as if an electric current had run through her!
She shot to her feet and rushed to Tyson’s bedside.
It was real!
The eyes that had been closed for three years were now slightly open. His gaze was still unfocused and confused, but it clearly reflected her face! His lips trembled as he struggled to say those two syllables again.
“E–Erin…”
“Tyson!” Tears burst from Erin again, but this time they were tears of overwhelming joy!
She leaned over Tyson, tightly gripping his thin hand as she cried loudly, as if trying to release all the fear, pain, and hardship she had endured over the past three years.
Tyson slowly lifted his other hand, the one that could still move slightly. With extreme effort, he gently stroked his sister’s hair again and again. His voice was weak, but the guilt and concern in it were clear. “S–Sorry… Erin… These years… you’ve worked… so hard…”
“It alright, Tyson. It wasn’t hard!” Erin shook her head fiercely and lifted her tear–streaked face. “As long as you’re alive, as long as you can wake up, no matter how hard it was for me, it doesn’t count as suffering!”
Once her emotions calmed a little, Erin eagerly began sharing the incredible

golden inside. With excitement, she explained how it
had slowly repaired Tyson’s damaged Mental Power, pulling him back from the brink of collapse until he finally woke up today.
As Tyson listened to his sister, a look of deep shock appeared on his pale face.
He knew better than Erin how terrifying and irreversible mental power damage was.
Ever since Mental Power had been discovered and put in use, the Kingdom had poured huge amounts of resources into researching ways to repair it, yet progress had always been extremely limited.
He had been unconscious for three years, and somehow a miracle had appeared.
Erin then mentioned the mysterious package that arrived today and the sender named “Humus.” “Tyson, do you know someone named Humus Reagen?”
“Humus… Reagen?” Tyson’s expression shifted slightly as he searched his memory. “He was one of Dad’s old army mates. Back when Dad was still alive, he used to help our family a lot. Later when I became a mercenary, I thought I could support the family myself, so I politely turned down his help, and we stopped contacting each other…”

“Do you have Humus’s contact information?” Erin asked eagerly. “I want to ask him where he bought these potatoes! If possible, I’d like to ask him to buy some for us!”
Tyson looked at the hope shining once again in Erin’s eyes, and his heart surged with emotion.
Now that there was a way for him to recover, he would never give up!
Any favors they owed now could be repaid many times over once he regained his strength.
With some effort, he operated his old light computer and found the nearly forgotten number buried deep in a hidden corner of his contact list.
The call connected, and Humus’s voice came through. It sounded aged but still strong.
When the old man learned that his former army mates Dave Madison had passed away ten years ago, and that his son Tyson had been unconscious for years because of severe Mental Power damage, his voice immediately changed with alarm. He sounded ready to rush over to see them right away.
It took Tyson some effort to calm the emotional Humus and explain that his condition was stable now and slowly improving, so there was no need for him to worry.
Then he asked the question that had been hovering over his mind–the sol
Potatoes.
When Humus heard that they had once managed to buy the same kind of potatoes at the recycling market of the Ottes garbage processing plant, he kept marveling at their luck and the strange twists of fate.
After that, he told Tyson and Erin everything he knew about “Tycoon Boss” and the miraculous potatoes.
That mysterious boss came from the harshest environment of all, Garbage Planet A001. From time to time she posted pre–sale announcements on Starnet’s “Free Market” platform, then personally set up a stall at Mercury Plaza on Centria Planet to sell them.
After the call ended, the siblings looked at each other and saw the same excitement and urgency in each other’s eyes.
They immediately logged into Starnet, entered the Free Market platform, and began searching for the account named “Tycoon
Boss.”
Sure enough, they found the account and saw the records of the two pre–sale announcements posted earlier.
Erin tightly held Tyson’s hand. Her voice trembled with excitement. “Tyson, do you see it? We have hope! Next time, next time Tycoon Boss posts a pre–sale announcement, we’ll place an order on Free Market! Then… we can ask Humus to help ship it to us!”
The light of hope had never shone so clearly into this home that had been covered in darkness for far too long.
However, Erin and Tyson’s joy did not last long. The tiny spark of hope that had just been lit was quickly crushed by an even harsher reality.
Bang bang bang!
Urgent and violent knocking exploded outside the door like thunder.
Before Erin could respond, a burst of electronic interference sounded from the door lock. Then several cold–faced officers wearing the joint uniforms of the Kingdom Resource Management Bureau and the Mental Power Monitoring Center forced their way inside!

“What are you doing?” Erin shot to her feet in shock and instinctively moved to block Tyson’s bed.

The lead officer showed his badge. His tone left no room for argument. “We received a report suspecting illegal use of unauthorized Mental Power intervention methods here. We are conducting an official inspection, and we will conduct a mandatory Mental Power Damage test on him,” he said while pointing at Tyson on the bed.
“No! My brother just started getting better! You can’t…” Erin tried to stop them, but two strong officers had already pushed past her. They roughly pressed a portable Mental Power scanner against Tyson’s forehead.
Tyson struggled weakly, his eyes filled with anger and fear.
The device gave off a faint buzzing sound as numbers rapidly flashed across the display. When the reading finally stabilized and appeared clearly on the screen, it showed 69%!
That number was eight full percentage points lower than Tyson’s previous level of 77%, when he had been close to total collapse!
However, the number that represented miracle and hope to Erin and Tyson made the government officers‘ faces change instantly!
“69%?” The lead officer’s pupils shrank. His face showed disbelief and extreme seriousness. “In such a short period of time, the Mental Power damage level dropped by such a large abnormal margin! This is absolutely not normal! This is a serious violation of the ‘Kingdom’s Mental Power Safety Control Act‘!”
He suddenly turned toward Erin, his eyes sharp as blades. “Speak! What illegal drug or forbidden technology did you use?!”
“We didn’t! We didn’t use anything illegal!” Erin cried desperately as tears streamed down her face. She rushed to the table and grabbed the remaining golden potatoes. “It’s because of these! It’s because he ate these potatoes! They can really repair Mental Power!”
“Potatoes?” The officer glanced at the plain–looking tuber in Erin’s hand. His face filled with ridicule and disbelief. “Ridiculous! Repairing Mental Power damage with natural food? Total nonsense! This is a problem even the Kingdom’s top research institute hasn’t cracked! Do you think we’re three–year–olds?”
He simply did not believe it. Or rather, it was beyond what he could understand, so he immediately categorized it as the most dangerous kind of “unknown illegal method.”
“Take him away!” he ordered without another word. “Remove the target individual, Tyson Madison, immediately and transfer him to the Seventh Mental Power Research Institute for isolation review and deeper analysis! We must determine what dangerous substance he used!”
“No! Please don’t! I’m begging you! Leave my brother alone! He really just ate potatoes!” Erin rushed forward like someone who had lost her mind. She threw herself over Tyson and held his body tightly, trying to stop them.
But there was no way a weak woman could fight against several trained men. She was shoved away mercilessly and slammed hard onto the floor. She could only watch helplessly as the uniformed personnel roughly dragged Tyson–who was too weak to even speak–off the bed. They forced a restraint suit onto him and hauled him away like an object!
“Tyson!” Erin screamed in agony and chased them to the doorway, but she was coldly blocked and forced back.
Despair crashed over her like icy waves and swallowed her whole. She collapsed onto the cold floor, trembling all over, her mind completely blank.
