So in the end, whether it was Paul and his mom or Erin and Tyson, Elizabeth handed them all over to Tiffany. “Please take them to Hope Town Two and get them settled. From now on, they’ll work with everyone else.”
“Got it, Ms. Schofield. Leave it to me,” Tiffany replied right away.
Erin and Tyson had no complaints. Having a place to stay and a job to earn life–saving potatoes–they were already beyond grateful.
Paul was still a little scared of the new place, but when he saw Elizabeth’s encouraging look, he nodded obediently. Holding his mom’s hand tight, he followed Tiffany.
After sending the new workers off, Elizabeth got on her little bike and headed toward the farm.
Even though the roads on the Garbage Planet were still a mess, having a hover vehicle made things way faster.
At least she no longer had to stumble step by step over sharp, uneven heaps of trash.
The moment she entered the farm covered by the circle, she quickly noticed the changes that had happened while she was gone.
More than half of the expanded garbage dump had already been cleared out.
Dozens of acres of new land had been opened up. The yellow–brown soil was evenly turned.
The rows were already dug out. Once she set up the circle, they’d be ready for planting.
The potatoes, sweet potatoes, and other crops she planted earlier were growing well–lush and green, with no signs of damage or theft.
Everything was neat and organized. It was even progressing faster than she expected.
But Elizabeth frowned slightly.
She could sense that within the circle, three of the free laborers were missing.
Before she could ask, Tiffany, who had been walking beside her, stepped forward to report. Her tone carried a hint of coldness.
“Ms. Schofield, after you left, Blackrat and his guys got restless. They were planning to escape. But they were scared of dying, so they didn’t dare try it themselves. Instead, they forced three low–level thugs to go first…”
Tiffany paused, a mocking look flashing across her face, mixed with a bit of fear toward the circle’s power. “As soon as those three stepped past the boundary, they didn’t even have time to scream before they were… shredded. The rest, including Blackrat, were scared stiff. After that, they’ve been working a lot
harder.”
Elizabeth smirked.

Chapter 104 Target: Elizabeth Schofield
Heh. Blackrat was cunning–using others to test the danger.
But it backfired.
Elizabeth was definitely going to hold a grudge over losing three strong workers.
Every one of those free laborers was valuable to her. Losing even one made her heart ache.
It looked like she’d have to find a chance to “reward” Blackrat for his bright idea.
Elizabeth sneered to herself, already making plans.

But in this lawless place, Blackrat wasn’t the only one getting restless.
While Elizabeth was back at the farm counting her “assets” and checking her harvest, a hideout in another part of the planet was buzzing with greed. This was Scarface’s hideout.
Scarface lived up to his name. A nasty scar ran from his left forehead down to his right jaw, making his already fierce face even more intimidating.
He wasn’t an exiled criminal, and he wasn’t someone kicked out for a mental power backlash.
He came here on purpose. After failing an important assassination mission, he ran to this lawless place to
pe his enemies and the kingdom’s wanted list.
his brutal skills and experience fighting for his life, he quickly built a foothold on Planet A001 and hered a group of equally ruthless outlaws.
Unlike Blackrat’s gang, who mostly bullied scavengers and collected protection fees, Scarface’s crew did more than that.
Scarface’s crew did dirty work through secret channels.
Assassination, kidnapping, getting rid of people or things that needed to disappear—this was their real business, and it paid the most.
But lately, fewer people were being sent to Planet A001, so there were fewer targets for them.
Originally, they planned to pull off a big job–raid all the supplies from Hope Town.
Then hire a private spaceship and leave for another Garbage Planet.
But they ran into someone tough.
