“She wants to build a private shipping route?!” Commander Hewitt was genuinely shocked this time.
Building a private shipping route was no small thing. The money, technology, and especially the security involved were all astronomical. The barrier to entry was insanely high.
A young girl exiled to Planet A001… where did she get that kind of nerve and ambition?
This news, paired with her large–scale sales of special farm produce, forced Commander Hewitt and Zaylee to take a fresh look at the daughter–in–law they had never met.
She was clearly far more than the “disgraced” exile in the files, the one labeled as someone who had drugged a man.
Zaylee grew interested at once and said excitedly, “Oh, come on, whether Elizabeth grew them herself or not, why don’t we just ask her? I’ll call her right now.”
At that moment, her curiosity about Elizabeth, along with a strange sense of anticipation, had already drowned out her initial reservations.
Very soon, the communication request was sent to Elizabeth’s device.
Planet A001.
Elizabeth had just finished cleaning the newly brought–back seeds. She was about to draw on the energy inside the energy stones to start sprouting them when she received a communication request from Centria Planet. The source showed Hewitt Castle.
Her brows lifted slightly. She could more or less guess who it was, so she accepted the call.
The holographic screen lit up, and two figures appeared on the other side.
Even through the screen, their striking looks and the natural bearing that came from years in positions of power made a flicker of surprise flash through Elizabeth’s eyes.
The man stood tall and straight, his face sharp and handsome. The insignia on his shoulders showed his extraordinary military rank. His gaze was keen, but not oppressive.
The woman carried a gentle, elegant grace. She was stunningly beautiful, and time seemed to have favored her in particular. There was warmth and wisdom in her eyes.
So these were her nominal father–in–law and mother–in–law? They were way too young- looking. And way too easy on the eyes.

“Commander Hewitt, Mrs. Hewitt, hello,” Elizabeth greeted politely, steady and composed.
“Eliza, hello.” Zaylee spoke first and used the more intimate name right away. “We contacted you out of the blue. Hope we didn’t interrupt anything?”
“Not at all, Mrs. Hewitt.” Elizabeth answered with a smile.
Commander Hewitt gave a slight nod as his greeting.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Zaylee smoothly brought up the real topic. “Eliza, we tried the strawberries you asked Jeremy to deliver last time, and the potatoes and sweet potatoes you sent before that too. They were absolutely delicious, truly the best we’ve ever had. I… Commander Hewitt and I both loved them very much.”
She had almost said “Dad” by habit, but since they still weren’t familiar, she changed it at the last second.
Her tone stayed warm, with just the right amount of curiosity. “We just wanted to ask where you bought them. The taste is so special. We’d love to buy more, and while we’re at it, we’d like to send some to Cristian too, so he can try them.”
Elizabeth’s expression turned knowing at once.
She had no intention of hiding anything, so she answered openly, “I didn’t buy those. I grew them myself on the farm.”
As she spoke, she adjusted the angle of her device to make it more convincing, turning the camera toward a lush strawberry field beside her, packed with vivid red fruit.
“Here, these are the strawberries in the field. I picked one batch today. The rest should be ripe in another couple of days.”
On the other side of the holographic screen, Commander Hewitt and Zaylee stared at the lively strawberry plants glowing in the sunlight, heavy with fruit, along with the neatly arranged rows of other crops visible in the distance. Both of them were so stunned their mouths fell slightly open, and for a moment, neither remembered to close them.
She really… really grew them herself?
On Planet A001?
With growth like this? And fruit this perfect? It was even better than they had imagined.
Shock crashed through them like a tidal wave.
However, Commander Hewitt and Zaylee were both people of great breeding. They quickly pulled themselves together and did not rudely press Elizabeth about how she had managed to

Everyone had their own secrets and their own luck.
