Her Celestial Farm on the Scrapyard Planet novel Chapter 326

Chapter 326 His Anger

“Commander, my nephew happens to be on leave now. He likes trying new things, and he’s reliable too!” one general quickly said.

“My niece just finished at the academy and wants to go out and relax a bit. She’s careful with details-she can handle this!”

“I have a cousin teaching at the agriculture academy. He’s exactly the right person!”

Very soon, people kept stepping forward to volunteer or suggest someone.

A quick count showed that if every officer in the meeting brought along one family member, the total would easily hit 20 or 30.

Oswald watched the excited group and wasn’t bothered by the big number.

The more people there were, the more data they could gather and the more ways they could observe.

But then, he remembered the farm blacklist Roman had mentioned.

He raised his hand, stopping the chatter, his face turning serious. “We can have many candidates, but one rule stays-they must be carefully screened.”

The room fell silent. Everyone stared at him, confused.

It was only a farm trip. What was there to screen?

“Turn in the names of the people you suggest, along with their full personal records,” Oswald said in a calm but firm tone. “The intelligence unit will run background checks. One thing matters most-their Starnet activity, especially recent posts. We need to see if they’ve spread fake rumors about Elizabeth or the farm, or posted anything negative or hostile.”

Soft gasps and puzzled whispers spread across the room.

A young major-general couldn’t stay quiet. “Commander, isn’t that… going too far? People talk nonsense. online all the time-especially younger folks who just say whatever comes to mind. Would Ms. Schofield really block customers just because of a few comments? How can she run a business like that?”

No one else spoke, but the same doubt showed in their eyes.

To them, refusing real customers-especially ones with strong status-because of anonymous online talk sounded impossible. It didn’t feel like something an experienced businessperson would do.

Oswald let out a cold snort as his eyes swept across the room. “Going too far? The Fifth Military still can’t even enter her farm because of this! Do you think Roman lost his temper for nothing? The team he sent went there openly using their official credentials, yet they were still turned away. It was just because they had stirred up trouble on Starnet before and slandered Elizabeth and her farm”

He paused, his tone growing heavier. “If her farm only made normal, tasty, natural food, maybe she

wouldn’t dare act like that. But now, we’re more than 80% sure that what she grows can help with mental power damage-maybe even repair it.

“Do you know what that means?” Oswald’s voice echoed through the silent room. “It means once this is fully confirmed and quietly shared within certain circles, it won’t be her begging the military to buy. It’ll be us-and every person and group in the kingdom struggling with mental power issues-lowering our heads, swallowing our pride, and doing everything possible to plead with her to sell.

“She won’t need to please anyone, because she controls a resource that no one else has. She can make whatever rules she believes are fair, including refusing to trade with someone just because she doesn’t like what they posted online. She has both the right and the power to do it.”

They stayed silent, their earlier doubt slowly replaced by deep thought.

They were used to a world where strength and resources crushed everything.

But what their commander described was a totally different kind of power. It was absolute control achieved by monopolizing a key resource or technology.

Some still wanted to argue. How could a small farm owner possibly stand against the military?

But the words never came out.

They remembered the Hewitts backing her, along with Trevor’s overwhelming strength within the First Military.

She wasn’t some lone farmer with no support. Behind her stood forces no one dared ignore. And the “cards” she held were worth far more than most of them had imagined.
